I had the worst experience here I have ever had if i could give zero stars i would!!!!! I booked the spa king room from a 3rd party site on 06/01 but I went in to the hotel to make sure I was getting the correct room I didn't want any errors since I was booking the spa king room for my birthday weekend, I asked the supervisor Huang if the room that it was showing with the jacuzzi tube was the room we were getting she very rudely replied "if that's what it shows that what we'll get" so we booked it & left, fast forward to Sunday 06/03 check in, we get to the hotel pay and check in my husband wanted to get the room ready for me so I go to Texas Roadhouse to grab a bite to eat, within 5 mins my husband called and told me that the room we received is not the room we booked I go over there to try and get the issue fixed and Huang was very rude again telling me that is the room I booked so that is the room I I'll get! I went on to tell her I booked the room in front of her on Friday to make sure this did not happen and she went on to tell me "if I don't like it I can leave she has the right to refuse service to anyone and that she was calling the police", the police came and I waited for them because I knew I did nothing wrong, the police tried to reason with Huang asking her why she would not let me speak to a manager she was so rude to the police they even said "I just met her & don't like her" she refused to let the police speak to a manager saying he's here but I don't want to bother him!!! I don't understand how someone like this is allowed to be in customer service she was extremely rude & of no help at all. The police were nice enough to use their own personal cell phones to call around to hotels & find us an amazing hotel for my birthday weekend they even said to file a complaint against her that she is extremely rude. There is another review about this same lady on here and even the employees there said she does that to everyone and is always rude (there was also a call that came in while we were dealing with all of this that they gave another guest the wrong room and were refusing to change it) DO NOT STAY HERE, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE IS HORRIBLE!! I will be contacting corporate, no paying customer should have to deal with someone as mean as Huang, I'm still waiting for my refund & will be pursuing legal action for the way we were treated. I can not stress enough the total disrespect we received and would not step foot on this Hotel again if I was paid to do so, I DO NOT & WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS...
Read moreI love Marriott Properties. I had a photo shoot prior to my birthday @ Marriott Courtyard Emeryville. The stay was amazing. The suite was great. So I decided to book a suite with a whirlpool here in my area. I choose another Marriott Property. I arrived on my birthday, excited to enjoy my first day of a 9 day vacation. I was greeted by the rudest Supervisor I have ever meet at a Marriott Property. Her name was Haung (not sure of spelling). I gave her my i.d. and credit card. I waited for like 7 mins and requested my keys to my room. She handed me back my items and said "your card declined". I know this could not be possible as I would have gotten an alert to my phone. So I asked that she run it again. She told me "NO" then she proceeded to talk to an employee. I felt bad for the employee as she spoke to her in a demeaning way. So I asked Haung to please double check or take another card. She said "No" your card declined. I again stated that is impossible. She told me to go look on the wall at their polices. I was confused. So I called my guest (sitting in Texas Roadhouse waiting for me for my BIRTHDAY dinner) to come over and use their card to pay for the room I reserved. Once my guest arrived they noticed the same thing. Haung was very rude, demeaning and had no customer service values what so ever. We notified Haung that we may not stay the whole 9 days any more due to the way we were being treated. Haung stated OK.... with no concern as to why. As we entered our suite. It was total disappointment. It was small; smelled old. No additional towels as requested. The whirlpool tub needed to be rinsed down before use. I was totally disappointed as this was my vacation and the day of my birthday. We stayed the night so we would not be charged the cancellation fee. However it was the worse stay ever. I will never suggest any of my family or friends to go to this low budget Marriott Property. It was like staying at a side of the rode hotel in the middle of no where. The customer service from Haung the Supervisor was horrible. The young lady whom Haung spoke demeaning to gave excellent customer service at check out. I notified her that I would contact Marriott Properties to tell them how she and the guest are treated at this hotel by the...
Read moreI was on a business trip tp Sacramento and decided to book this hotel because of the close proximity to my work. I brought my wife along for the trip as a short getaway for her. One morning shortly after left the hotel for work my wife texted me a couple of screenshots of stains on the pillow cases and sheets, screenshots which I still have. She initial thought it may have been from a nose bleed during the evening but she showed no sign of it. My wife determined the stains to possibly be dried blood stains. She called the room service staff and they showed up to confirm my wife’s suspicions and quickly changed the bedding and cleaned the room. The room service staff was ver apologetic from what my wife told me. As you can imagine, I was extremely upset. I normally do not stay in a hotel that allows pets because I have always been suspicious of the pet owners not cleaning up very good after their pets and because I was always skeptical about how well the room was cleaned prior to my arrival. I will say hotel staff was very accommodating and the check in/check out recess was very smooth. All in all, I am sure the whole room service staff is not to blame, but maybe employee not doing there job thoroughly. As an active duty service member, I am use to not sleeping in the most comforting of places. As a Marriott rewards member and having this experience at a hotel chain like the Marriott, I am...
