Worst store in So. Sac/Elk Grove area. They won't take packages other stores accept just fine. One time my box was white instead of brown, so they said it wasn't "heavy" enough. (I have been shipping merchandise overseas to military and diplomatic posts for 15 years with no issues, so I have experience preparing packages). Yesterday I had a prepaid return label for an item valued at $1,000 from Tiffany. UPS instructions stated clearly that receipt should be signed by UPS driver or UPS representative, and even included the address of this store for the return. Female employee said she couldn't accept a package valued over $1,000 and couldn't understand my explanation that $1,000 is not over $1,000. She also said she was not a UPS representative. Um...how is she working at the UPS Store if she is not a UPS representative? She told me to come back and wait for the driver later. I went to another store in Elk Grove, where the manager actually took the time to read the instructions, signed my receipt, and accepted the package.
The Elk Grove-Florin store is the closest to my house but I will never go there again. Judging by the responses I have read from the owner to other customer reviews, he is only going to make more excuses for the poor customer service at his store.

I recently visited the UPS store and had a disappointing experience with an employee named Hioshi. This was not the first time I encountered unprofessional behavior from him, and this visit only added to my dissatisfaction.
During my visit, I needed a notary service, and I had previously emailed the documents to the UPS store's email address. I gave my permission for Hioshi to print out six pages for me, but to my surprise, when it came time for payment, I was charged not only for the notary service, and printed pages but also for "computer use." Mind you, I didn't use the computer, he used his own to print my pages.
I specifically questioned Hioshi about the additional charges related to computer use, as I believed they were unjustified. He dismissively told me that's how it works without providing a clear explanation. This lack of transparency and professionalism left a sour taste in my mouth. It's not about the extra $3 he charged, but rather the principle of honesty and fairness in business transactions.
I want to make it clear that I had given permission for the printing of the pages, and my concern was solely about the unexpected computer use charges. I believe that customers should be informed and not subjected to hidden or unjustified charges. This experience has made me question the integrity of this UPS store location. I strongly recommend considering other UPS store locations if possible, where you might find a more transparent and customer-friendly service.

Read moreWent in yesterday and took a passport picture. The lady who took my picture DID NOT show me how it turned out on the camera. Printed it and gave it to me and I quickly looked and had to go as it was time to pick up my kids. So maybe it is my fault Noticed that my hair was in my side and head was a little crooked. Next day I came back and I told the worker the situation if I can retake it. He didn't tell me I'd have to pay again or else I wouldn't have. Then he talked to a lady in the back who had her back turned the whole time. Then he came back with the new pictures and said I'll have to charge you for these. So I'm upset about the fact that he said I could retake it. Like I said prior. My fault for not looking at it properly. But how much is ink? A replacement shouldn't have been a hard loss. I asked if I could just talk to the manager. Which is probably the owner who had her back turned. But to everyone who reads this (and the same situation may happen to you) GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR PASSPORT PHOTOS AND OTHER BUSINESS NEEDS!! I wish I read some of these reviews before coming here. I will be contacting Corporate to let them know this experience as well. Unprofessional, rude and there's a cute baby walking around in the back picking up boxes. (Probably the owners child) But I don't think that's allowed? If I did end up paying that extra $16 for the new retake would that of helped with daycare? Might need to be reported?
