We got the steak sandwich, a salad, and the fish fry. All were quite good. The salad dressing is the same one Mom (also from Wisconsin) has made for the past 60+ years. Classic, old-school Wisconsin. You order drinks and food at separate bars. Bloody Mary was an excellent choice given that I was in Wisconsin and on vacation. You can eat on their patio, inside a screened porch, or inside. They also have some picnic tables in the grass if you have a dog with you. We didn't at this moment. Every place in and around Siebkens is a must-try.

Nice corner spot with a good patio and decent food. Gluten free food options are available; though we got the gf options the gluten sensitive one in the group definitely got sick from eating gluten. Overall the food was good but not amazing, and the fries were absolutely bathed in salt making them nearly inedible (sad, especially considering we had ordered an extra platter of them from the getgo). Beer selection is ok, though you need to go inside to order food and beverages.

Really wanted to like this place as I chose it for a birthday dinner. Drinks were horrible! Asked for a lemondrop martini and was served vodka and lemon juice in a wine glass!!! Yuck! Walleye was very good but the carbonara was over peppered with wads of garnish on top. Sadly, I won't return...ruined a very special birthday.

I went there with a few other people and we all ordered the “famous” sandwiches which is misleading because having a deli sandwich that is reminiscent to a convenience store sandwich isn’t special. Two of us ordered turkey and asked if we could get roast beef as well for an extra charge of course but compared the amount of meat to the the other two in our group that just had turkey and their wasn’t any more meat it just appeared that they substituted one slice of turkey for a slice of roast beef but charged $4 extra on top of the ridiculously high price of $13. I figured we would get extra meat for that not substituted. We we’re better off ordering one turkey and one roast beef sandwich and swapping meat and save $8. I don’t mind paying a premium for a sandwich that is unique and doesn’t taste like something you can make at home better and cheaper but that is exactly what this sandwich was not especially unique nor that good. The famous rye bread was rather stale and chewy plus the homemade chips were stale as well. One of the people from our group ordered a corned beef sandwich and said it didn’t taste like any corned beef he’s ever had and not in a good way. All of us in our group agreed this was a ridiculous amount of money for deli sandwiches that consisted of stale rye bread very little deli meat, slice of cheese, onions tomatoes and dijon. Seriously can’t believe how this is a favorite local place to go and eat. You can get a way better and more unique sandwich at any franchised sandwich shop for less money. I have never paid almost $40 for two sandwiches with out even ordering drinks before and get that kind of a convenience store sandwich experience. The place wasn’t even that busy and we waited a bit before we got our food which we all couldn’t figure that out because putting together 4 sandwiches like these take all of 4 minutes to construct and a handful of stale chips. I don’t even want to start on the ridiculous way to order with ordering food on one counter and going to the other counter to order a drink but yet have to pay separately. We all didn’t bother going through the hassle of ordering drinks instead just grabbed water from the dispenser they had on the counter. Luckily because with added drinks that would have been over $50 for freakin convenience store deli sandwiches. This place should be ashamed for charging these prices and serving this food especially charging extra for two meats but not getting anymore meat. That’s just...

I first visited Siebkins Stop Inn during a visit to Road America in 1984. SO when I returned 40 years later, I made a point to visit....4 nights in a row. I enjoyed several cold PBR bottles, A few Speckled Hens, and another local beer from SwitchGear Brewing. I enjoyed everything I ate, but the superstar for me was the roasted carrot appetizer with Pistachios and blue cheese. Holy Smokes! The staff was kind, accommodating, and hustling around pretty good. There is no table service. Everything needs to be ordered from the bar or the sandwich counter. A great time...I hope to...
