What a disappointing Fatherâs Day. My dad loves barbecue so we decided to try this place out as a family. As soon as we walked in the bartender was rude, and we got the vibe that she didnât want to be there. We ordered bloody maryâs and right away told her my mom was a vegetarian. She did not put bacon in the drink & my mom ordered a BLT with the meat on the side.
We sat outside and moved two tables together and the bartender was clearly annoyed by that and expressed we needed to move them back after which was fine.
Food came, my momâs food had meat on it. We told the bartender and she even expressed that she knew my mom was a vegetarian but was clearly annoyed by the situation. She came back a few minutes later and said we would have to pay for the food.
My mom asked to speak with the manager and the manager started arguing with my mom, we could hear the manager arguing from outside where we were sitting. She was saying things like, âif youâre a vegetarian, do you want butter on it or notâ. Basically being sassy about my momâs preferences. Eventually my mom said she was not going to argue and walked away.
We paid our bill in full with cash and left it on the table. As we were driving away the bartender was RUNNING after our vehicle yelling saying we didnât pay as other customers are sitting there wondering what is happening. We said we left the money on the table and as we drove away we could see her rush to the table and quickly clean up clearly angry as other customers stared at her.
It was a really uncomfortable lunch to say the least - and in this situation it was clear that they donât feel the customer is always right or care about their satisfaction.
Good food and as a family we love finding spots like this; but unfortunately we will...
Read moreIf I could give ZERO STARS I WOULD! Came here for a Mother's day weekend getaway. First I wanted a yummy drink preferably what Im used to from California, a strawberry margarita, and the bartenders let me know that they only had lime flavor, which I do not like at all, and, was told by the bartender on Mother's day that "this is the way margaritas are made", well I'm from California and we have a variety strawberry margaritas are a staple in my state. So, I ordered a soda instead, they cant make itand dont have the ingredients. Next, we ordered our food, ribs, fries, oh and wanted wings from the menu since it was only 4:30 pm, was told " we're out". If you're going to have wings listed on your menu, maybe order enough, especially on a weekend for dinner. Next, we placed orders, the ribs tasted bland was rubbery and gross, the fries were also bland and the burger was subpar. If I knew what the locals let us know after, eating from this place I would have avoided and saved money going to McDonald's. Do not eat here, rude bartender, gross food! Also, don't tell your customer that I should get a lime margaritas against my wishes when I clearly explicitly said twice I do not like lime margaritas!...
Read moreStopped in for lunch hoping to at last find good bar-b-que in Wisconsin. We were not disappointed. We relocated from Texas 12 years ago, so finding bar-b-que that resembles the Lone Star State is very rare. These folks that are relatively new to the art of smoking are only going to get better and better with experience. We started with the hand wrapped mozzarella sticks. Shared pork burnt ends that were great, the brisket really good, and the sausage, more of a German style in flavor will grow on you. I didn't ask if the bbq sauce was homemade, but it was the perfect condiment for the meats. The mac and cheese with the onion rings were excellent sides. Leo working the bar kept a watchful eye on our drinks and Sara, the new owner, was friendly and makes every effort for their customers to feel comfortable with a great eating experience. This is a solid 4 plus star for food, and a 5 for enviroment and service. The restaurant has a garage theme environment with games and a large patio. We look forward to...
