Friends on the Square — Restaurant in Elkhorn

Thanks Sue and Donna for you’re “replies” and attempt to discredit other customers. It appears that you are defensive as if you may be affiliated with Friends On The Square. No customer just looks though reviews after leaving a place when it was a positive experience so you really just gave yourself away on that one. Clearly you weren’t in there (as a customer lol), as there was only one other customer in line while we were there and they were rather rude to that lady as well. In fact almost argumentative with her. I don’t know how anyone could perceive and I quote “I’m sorry, but this isn’t good as there is too much syrup” or “I’m sorry, I ordered an iced coffee, not hot” as extremely rude customers. In fact, when you sell a coffee for $8 it should be good, and be what you ordered. We knew EXACTLY what we want and near by places such as Planthropology and Perk Up have never failed to make a simple iced coffee (or 2) well. Unfortunately they we’re both closed, and this was a last resort. Next time I WILL go to McDonald’s as the coffee is much cheaper and better...

They do not have the apartment ready by the time you move in. If you move in early she will be mad at you and tell you it’s your fault and have nothing ready for you to move in. When I moved in nothing was ready and the past persons stuff was still in the apartment and they were not willing to work with me to get things figured out. The landlord said it was all my fault for wanting to move in two days early even though I let them know that I’d be moving in early for months. Do NOT work with these people if you can help it because they will NOT work with you… I’m extremely disappointed with how things worked out for me and I ended up moving out early to avoid working with these people. Their coffee shop leaves their coffee out and if you want a cup it is very stale…. The pastries are dry and left out all day and maybe even for multiple days. If you have the chance please do not stop by here and spend your money...

I have never experienced worse customer service than this place. These people clearly do not know how to make a coffee and definitely do not know how to keep a customer happy. I sure hope they don’t treat their friends like they do their customers, because if they do I’d be willing to bet they don’t have any friends.
