Jack Rabbit Fizz — Restaurant in Elkhorn

I give this place a one star. The drinks were great, most were specialty drinks with fresh ingredients and purees. The place is very eclectic and has a great vibe. The two is from customer service, which to me is the whole experience. The menu said specialty drinks were $8 and martinis were $9/$10 (not sure which one now but not more than that). My friend and I ordered 2 specialty drinks, and 2 just normal everyday rail drinks. When we asked for the bill I was paying cash and the bartender said it was $48 and before I could even think about the total I paid the bill. I later asked for an itemized receipt and and she stated since I paid cash she couldn't give me one. I again asked for a receipt and she said she would see what she could do. She later came back with a list of about 12 random chargers ranging from 1, 4, and 5 dollars a piece to make the total equal $48. She could not give me a receipt on what my 4 drinks for the night cost. Sadly I loved the place until this interaction and will not be returning. Mixed feelings. I went there for the first time recently and although it was a great atmosphere and good bartending, I stepped away to play a game while leaving my money on the bar next to a friend of mine. I was still in sight of the bartender and never left the bar. When I returned to my seat my money was gone but my friends remained. The bar was not busy at all either.
