WARNING!⚠️ Not as good as the reviews say, iv been there twice and it only got worse. I figured id give them another try but ended up very disappointed. The sushi for lunch has alot of imitation crab in it, and only a tiny piece of shrimp to go with it. Barley any flavor and after i made a complaint about my king kong having a super tiny piece of shrimp but fully packed with crab. Not to mention there was a hair in it as well so i had to return it. Didnt take a picture because i never thought i would have to write a review. After experiencing what i witnessed, i think people should know. Sunrise roll i believe it was had no flavor at all! The young waiter gave me some weird looks accompanied by the chefs because i mentioned this. Although i tried to brush it off and just tried to have a great lunch. Sorry to say but the food coming out after the complaint began to taste funky and old. I was scared to try anything else so i just ended my lunch, with a stomach ache and super disappointed. Flavorless rolls, old tasting fish, way too much crab, very unprofessional, depressing building, sketchy young waiter, fishy chefs, definitely never ever going back. Iv been eating sushi for 18 years, tried atleast 30 different spots, 3 different states. Sadly blue moon is at the bottom of my list with no regret besides walking in there. Sad that Elko has very few selections for sushi but i would recommend taking a trip to Reno for the best sushi ever. Atlantis sushi bar 10/10 stars, Ohana sushi 10/10 stars, Tokyo sushi and grill 9/10 stars, sushi rose 8.7/10 stars, sushi one 8/10 stars. Very professional, clean, and delicious sushi!! Worth the drive hands down! 4 hours away!

Read moreI went here with a few family members, my wife and I got all you can eat, the rest did not. The waitress took everyone else's order and went to put them in, which was fine because we weren't quite ready yet. What wasn't fine was the waitress not coming back to take the order sheet for ten minutes despite it being three in the afternoon (there was literally only one other table filled in the entire restaurant). She just stood at the sushi counter, I made eye contact twice, and even tried to signal her over. My grandfather finally succeeded in calling her over and we got our order in.
The sushi was good when we got it. Not great, but not bad either. The coconut shrimp was great though.
At the end of our meal we were only waiting for two Phoenix rolls (my grandfather and I had each ordered one, his a la carte) and they took a LONG time. I mean he had ordered his when he ordered his meal, and it took until about fifteen minutes after we were through eating. They said ours was being worked on. He asked if it usually took that long because he was curious of the process of making the roll (he thought if it took an hour it must be complicated) and they offered to remove it from his bill for the wait. We all paid, still under the impression the other roll was coming. We waited another twenty minutes, and asked about it, and they said since they made one for my grandpa but took it off of his check they weren't giving us another. At this point we didn't want to wait anymore, so we left. They spoke loudly about us in Japanese as we left, even though we were nothing but polite and cordial the entire time. Also, they add your tip to your check before you pay but don't tell you.

Read moreI am not someone to complain or really write reviews. But the past couple times I have been here the service has been just unsatisfying. This last time I didn’t even go to sit in the restaurant, I ordered off the menu online and ordered shrimp pad Thai that was priced at 9.95 but when I checked out and already paid the receipt said 10.95. Granted it was only a dollar difference, but the way the waitress and waiters response was, was definitely just unprofessional. The gentleman helping me at first brought my food out after I paid and when I pointed out the difference to him on the website and receipt he sort of rolled his eyes and spoke with the woman who came to “help”, I showed her on my phone and she proceeded to try to just scroll to the top of the website to make sure it was their site. Which it was and then she scrolled down to make sure I was correct. When I finally got irritated I let them know it wasn’t a problem but that I hope they are aware of the difference. I feel like the staff here are rude and disrespectful. The past 2 times my boyfriend and I sat in to eat sushi we’ve also felt that the staff is talking about their customers and think that no one is paying attention because we don’t understand.
