La Fiesta — Restaurant in Elko

Usually this is my favorite place. But last week I had ordered my food and the chips and salsa to go. When I got home, the salsa was watered down with beans in it. Yuk!! It was like a junk discard batch that I got. Tonight I told the waiter that served me about that dish and he was too busy blaming everyone else. All I wanted was an apology. Don’t blame others!! You should be checking the orders before they leave, you package it up!! Make sure it is right! This is customer service! I am so disappointed then and now. I have have some great memories that have taken place in this restaurant so I feel biased writing this review. I have celebrated an anniversary here and a first date as well. Here are my thoughts though. The shredded beef is very flavorful and succulent. I have also enjoyed the chicken and pork dishes as well. I am allergic to seafood so I cannot speak of those dishes with any experience but I would gather it is just as good as the other three meats. I am a chimichanga type of guy so that is my go to, but they have amazing tacos and enchiladas as well. The fried ice cream is also very delicious. I eat here about once a month now and have not...

We haven't been here for quite a while. Decided to give it another try. Years ago used to be a favorite... don't care for the old birthday pictures on the wall, most have faded and are falling off...

Menu looks the same... I didn't see anything new... I'd love a specialty or something unique. Cabbage salsa is still the best thing.

Service was ok until we got our food, then they seemed to disappear, no refills on drinks or chips.

Tacos, enchiladas, etc... no real seasonings or special sauces. Food is ok. Cooked well. Just not a lot of flavor.

Perhaps just needs an update? Not bad, not great... not...
