Taco Bell — Restaurant in Ellettsville

Sadly I won’t be giving this a Taco Bell another chance. We used to eat there at least once a week, but in the last year and a half or so service as went down hill. Today was last straw. After placing my order at drive through the girl proceeded to tell me that it would be at least a 20 min wait. ( I was only car in line) I laughed (was not rude) and said I don’t get it this is supposed to be fast food. A man came on and informed me it wasn’t fast food it was fresh food and that the people who came inside were to be served first. (In a rude tone) well I did tell him it was supposed to be fast food and the he was rude to just forget it. Okay I know how this works, the orders are supposed to be taken care of as they are placed, I’m not to be punished and held to the end of the line because I did not come in. My money goes into their pocket just the same. Also Taco Bell is considered fast food! There are trays of readied food and a so called assembly line. At the end of the line sometimes they have to pop it in the microwave to heat up. I know the drill. Sadly they need something there. Customer service training perhaps? Or maybe a trip to see how other Taco Bell’s are ran? The one in Terre Haute always has a line a mile long and you move right through. Some times I think they tell you this long wait time to discourage you from ordering! I would not have given any stars but it wouldn’t let me post...

We ordered a meal for 2 online, and we made a couple customizations to the items. (The app let us do it to each individual item but when we arrived to pick it up it had made all customizations to both like items.) So when he asked if everything looked correct I told them the customizations then we went to the window. He seemed very Annoyed that we had made changes and did not shy away from showing it. He handed us the food and when we asked for a fork I thought his head might explode. Once we got to eat our food, the customizations were to the Crunchwraps and they put next to no meat in it and was literally just lettuce and sour cream with maybe a tablespoon of meat in it. I thought they waited to make your food to arrive, but if dude would have just said it was already made we would have taken it, but to get mad at us then not give us meat in our food is ridiculous. Will NEVER go back to this location. My lst trip to this store went like this:

Placed my order. Several items including 2 apple empanadas. Order cam to $22.xx. AFTER putting the order together, they inform me that they have no empanadas (which is pretty common at this location. They must be a high food cost item, as they never seem to have any ready). 6-8 minutes. So I waited as opposed to taking the Cinnamon twist instead (yeah, that is a close substitution). So my prepared order sits on the counter getting cold for the next 6-8 minutes. When the empanadas are done, I am handed the them and told to have a nice day. I said wait a minute, now all of the rest of my dinner is cold. I was told "I am sorry, I can't do anything about that". Didn't offer to remake the cold food, didn't offer anything to me but I'm sorry. Never at this location and probably not at Taco Bell for a while.
