Taqueria la Mexicana — Restaurant in Elmira Township

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent dining experience at your establishment. My visit was profoundly disappointing, falling far short of expectations in several key areas.

Firstly, the food quality was unacceptable. The dishes were excessively salty, and the meat was noticeably old and tough, resulting in a significant impact on my health; I suffered from diarrhea for an entire week following the meal. This is particularly concerning given that I was expecting authentic mexican cuisine, and this fell drastically short of that standard. Frankly, the quality of the food did not align with what one would expect from a restaurant serving mexican food.

Secondly, the service was severely lacking. Our server demonstrated a marked inability to adequately explain the menu, leaving us feeling confused and uninformed about our choices. Our meal was amazing. We got the carnitas tacos, pastor tacos, and poblano enchiladas. As well as some menudo to go for my mom. Service was excellent. Bring your appetite and your Spanish lessons from high school. This is not Tex-Mex if that's what your used to. But everyone can find something...

Incredible food. We all had quesa birria tacos. Absolutely top notch at reasonable prices. We will be back!
