Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Elsa

I decided to try this Jack in the Box location in Elsa today. When I drove up, it was dark, and the signs were not lit up, but they were open.

There is plenty of parking, though not well lit.

There were some cars in the drive-through, but the dining room was empty when I walked in. No one was at the counter, but I could hear workers in the back. It did not take long before someone came to take my order.

I noticed the dining room was clean, though the counter and drink areas could have been neater. The wait was longer than usual as they were busy with the drive-through customers. I wondered if they were short-handed.

My order finally was ready. I checked it, and one item was missing. I brought that to the manager's attention, and he quickly brought it over. They did accurately fill the three burgers which had special requests (no mustard or pickles).

The quality of the food was standard for Jacks, the fries freshly made.

While they could improve in some areas, overall my experience was positive. I always recommend...

Horrible customer service!!! I ordered with door dash but the store was also in the wrong. I did call and file a complaint with door dash about driver but these are my key points about store. Door dash did handle situation with driver. 1. When I arrived at store they said my order had been there forever. They said the driver didn't want to wait on food. And that was how he was. ...so why wasn't I called to ask if I wanted the food or at least notified about the situation. They had my information. I called over and over but phone was working. According to reviews it's been like that for at least 5 months. My order was large. Over$100 but they would not make my order over because it would be a waste to the store but expected me to take the cold food and drink that the ice had melted in. I was not going to take . That is a lack of training and common sense on the stores part. I will never go there again. Horrible Horrible service. And they were laughing....

This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had at Jack in The box. My wife and I and our two kids went to Jack in The box just to get a really quick bite to eat just a breakfast sandwiches. The wait was ridiculously long. Several people in line have been waiting for over 45 minutes for their food. One person was waiting 45 minutes for a salad and that's just ridiculous. To be clear, I do not blame the staff. This was 100% the manager's problem. The staff looked confused and frightened. Whoever was running the show dropped the ball today. Our food took over 30 minutes to prepare and it was just three breakfast sandwiches and an order of two tacos. Absolutely ridiculous time frame. I would never recommend this Jack in the box to anyone. When we asked about a refund we were told that a refund was not possible because the only person who could do that refund was not available.
