We went to this Mc Donald’s twice in a five day period while passing through during our trip. My first experience was on Sunday 3/17. We stopped in to grab the kids some breakfast before our 8 hr trip. My husband ordered through the app (which he does on a regular basis at home) and I had to go in and make a specialty order for one of the kids. As I walked in a teenager greets me with, “You need to use the Kiosk”. No welcome to McDonalds or how can help you but a very quick you need to use the kiosk and then turned on his heel and walked away. When I finally flagged him down because I needed help he seemed put out by that. After I got my portion of the order I went and waited in car the for my husbands mobile order. When the same kid brought it out and told us that they didn’t have a coffee machine working for the mocha and Iced coffee. He told us he could get us just two regular coffees which were halve the price of what we ordered. We told him no and we would like to be refunded. The kid told my husband they couldn’t refund and we would have to contact corporate. My husband said no we wanted them to refund the missing items. After a heated discussion my husband settled for another McGriddle. Our second experience was tonight 3/21. I paid for 3 meals which came to 28.00 dollars. When I asked for more Barbeque sauce the girl at the drive up window she rolled her eyes and tossed them at me. Then when my niece reached in for a fry she said they were cold and we were missing one fry. I called to complain about the horrible service we had received the manager Leanna hung up on me three times. When I told my husband he tried calling and talking to her and she hung up on him as well. Finally after many tries another person answered and tried to help resolve this. Look, I know no one really goes there to eat the hamburger of their life but an American Icon of an establishment should have superb service skills. The owner should go and visit Chick-a-filet. My recommendation to any one passing through Ely, NV they should drive the extra 500 yards and go to Carls Jr. The owner has got to be tired of...
Read moreEasily the worst McDonalds I've ever been to bar none. Let me count the ways this place straight up fails. 1. Kiosk ordering ONLY. What moron decided THAT was a good idea? You can't even ASK for an employee to order for you. 2. My disabled wife went to the bathroom and when she flushed the toilet, the friggin' pipe sprayed all over (no kidding... thankfully it was the fresh water). 3. The place is straight up FILTHY. You would think with all the money and man hours they save refusing to take your order they'd have someone cleaning the place. Nope. 4. Our Quarter Pounders all tasted like they were made hours earlier. The only reason I am giving two stars for food is because the fries were fresh and hot. 5. They charge $.10 extra for ice tea (you know, flavored water... that barely tasted like tea). I can only guess it's because one of the employees has to actually push down the lever to fill it versus handing over a cup to have us fill our own sodas. 6. There are tons of people standing around waiting for the food... FOREVER. This poor young man and his girlfriend were already there looking bored and angry when I GOT there... even after our 20-25 minute wait HE WAS STILL THERE AS I WAS LEAVING?!? Did they have to chase down the chickens for his nuggets or something? I've been to too many McDonalds to count... too many... and this place is EASILY the worst ... by a long shot. The only saving grace (aside from the fresh fries) was the poor old guy in the lobby trying like heck to help people deal with the kiosks. Nice old fellow... too bad he's working in such a dump. I recommend all to avoid this nightmare. If you don't... you can't say I didn't warn you!
EDIT: Note that the "owner" does take his/her time to respond to each of these critiques and has done so for some time. UNFORTUNATELY it's obviously just "lip service" as the same issues that were posted (and responded to) months ago remain today. It's one thing to respond with a canned response ... it's another to actually take your customers complaints seriously and do your best to rectify...

Drove down there when it said it was ready. Get there and the drive thru was packed with cars. I went inside and there were people standing everywhere waiting for orders, I gave the cashier the number and she said, you have to change it to pickup inside or we can’t see it
I did, she said oh okay I’ll have that right away. She walked away and I didn’t see her for 25 minutes Sadly what I did see was some guy in the back working on a fryer and while he’s doing so, he’s talking to the manager and grabbing fries out of the container that they were serving customers with disgusting dirty gloves that he just pulled out of the fryer, not once, not twice but three times as he’s talking to the manager who was doing nothing!!!! Everyone standing there watched him do it, I said hey that’s pretty stupid to do and he ignored me as the manager did. Then 30 minutes later I got the order. It was nasty cold and a burned cheeseburger!! I told the girl who helped me that he probably should be thrown out because someone is gonna snap. She said oh I’m sorry I’ll say something now, she actually did while the manager stood there laughing!!!
Threw everything away. Stay away from this place. If the manager is that nasty you can just imagine how bad the employees are.
I’ll say this. The only employee who seemed to care was the younger non Hispanic...
