Gyro House — Restaurant in Elyria

Hello foodies this is Steven the foodie guy I went here today to try first time a gyro a jumbo gyro well I was really disappointed it was not a jumble look like for a kid anyways the jumbo gyro was $6 and it was cut it wasn't shaved I will probably not be back for the gyros they do have a nice menu though maybe I'll try the chicken wings but anyways back to the gyro out of 10 or give the Peta a 6 and 1/2 out of 10 I could have been cooked better the sauce the sour cream was at 8 out of 10 little watery the gyro meat itself I would give that about a 6.5 oh that's the same amount of ounces it weighs remember this is a jumbo I wish there was more onion and tomato on there but anyways that's the review for this place maybe it's just because it's the first time during busy anyways I was really dissatisfied with the size of the jumbo gyros you want a good gyro you got to go to awesome gyros in North ridgeville by fuzzy's bar or let's try this new place called gyro guys on Pearl road have a nice day and watch out...

Placed an order with the owner?? at Gyro House, told them Jim would pick it up at 11:35am, gentleman said ok. When Jim arrived, he waited and finally told the lady (employee) to he was in a hurry and the owner?? started yelling at him and said "I told you 12:10, I said 12:10!! The female employee yelled at the owner?? When I placed the order I was asked what time I wanted to pick it up, I said 11:30 and he said 11:35, I was ok with that.

The order came up $50!!!! Jim was really upset with the way he was treated. When he came back, I called the Gyro House and the female employee stated that there were 3 orders placed and the owner?? did not get anyone's name. She was not so pleasant either. I told her that I would send another gentleman up to get the order and that we would not be back. She said "oh, ok" WHAT THE HECK!! This is not the first time an order was wrong or being treated in a wrongful manner.

Not very happy with them today. I live in lorain and just happened to be in that area; I ordered the 10 wing basket for my boyfriend who was waiting for me at home. The girl called me to the desk because my order was done. I left, drove all the way to lorain, where I live, gave my boyfriend the bag. He said this isn't what I ordered. It sure wasn't. It had cabbage and a bunch of sandwiches wrapped in foil. I called them and told him there must of been a mix up. The girl was polite and said yes there was, I'm so sorry. I drove all the way back up there and they didn't refund my money or offer me anything extra for the gas and time I had waisted because of their mix up. I even told them I drove all the way home and had to drive all the back. They didn't offer nothing. Don't know if they even cared. The food is good. But learned my lesson...check...
