I am not one to post bad reviews, but the service I just received from this Taco Bell was honestly some of the most awful service I’ve ever received from a fast food place. So we first let the speaker know we had a mobile pick up order and they asked for our name and that was that (we placed our mobile order at 11:07pm); we pull up to the window after ~5-10 minutes as there were a few cars ahead of us and the man at the window asks us if we had an order that was not ours, and we said “no, we had a mobile order.” That guy looked so confused and it took a couple minutes of them chatting to open the window and tell us to pull forward. Okay… We pull forward and this is not usually a place where people get asked to pull forward as we had a car honking at us to move, but they asked us to pull forward so we stayed put. We wait parked for around 10-15 minutes before we decide to go back through the drive thru to see what was taking so long. When we pull up to the speaker the guy says they’re only taking door dash orders; mind you it’s only 11:30pm and we’ve been to this Taco Bell way later before and never had this issue, but we informed him we had the mobile order and were asked to pull forward and how we’ve been waiting awhile and nothing has happened. He asks for our name again and then tells us to pull forward. There are no cars behind us. After a few minutes we are back at the window again. He asks for our name AGAIN like I’m sorry but we’re the only ones in line now who do you think we are??? And we tell him and he grabs a bag that’s behind him, which was likely sitting for a few minutes and says, “I’m so sorry about that. We just got slammed and this order just came up,” I’m unsure how true that statement is as yes they did have like 5 cars in front of us and a few behind us, but within a few minutes they were all out of line while we STILL waited. But whatever, we were getting our food now and it felt warm so it must’ve not been out for too long. He closes the window and expects us to pull away, but we ordered a baja strawberry dream blast freeze that they did not give us. After a minute of looking at the window confused and annoyed he opens it and asks and we tell him we had a drink; he asks for the drink then goes back to make it. Then he proceeds to make the wrong drink and so we tell him “it was the STRAWBERRY baja freeze.” He looks incredibly annoyed like we are such a huge burden and like we’re asking for too much, but he goes back and makes it. He hands us the drink, and has a straw in hand that falls but he just gives us the drink and makes 0 effort to give us another straw. My boyfriend told him thank you and to have a good night and there was 0 response from him. So we sit there and wait for him to open the window again and ask for a straw. He’s incredibly annoyed but grabs the straw and gives it to us, again my boyfriend tells him thank you and to have a goodnight and he just gives an incredibly rude look and closes the window. Even after all of that, this isn’t what pushed me to write this review. As a fast food worker I’m very understanding of people having bad days and nights and wanting to get out. All of this was piling up and I can’t lie I was very angry, but we had our food and although it was such a shitty service experience it was done. I unwrap my grilled cheese steak burrito to unveil a steak burrito; no cheese or grill marks on top (picture attached). We waited at least 15 minutes for our food AFTER we got to the window, in total it was probably 20 or so minutes. So it took forever and they couldn’t even make the food right. That pushed me over the edge, but my boyfriend didn’t wanna go back through as I felt they would just spit in our food if we asked them to remake it and we were CLEARLY such a huge burden on them already that it wasn’t worth our energy. This experience ruined my night. I don’t mean to sound like a bitching Karen, but the way we were treated and to not have the order correct after waiting so long, was upsetting. I do not think we will come back to this...
Read moreMe and 2 friends came through the drive thru tonight since there was NO line and ordered 3 meals. I pulled up to the 2nd window to pay for the order and at the window I requested to change my drink for my meal. The employee informed us that we had to pull back through the drive thru and that she couldn’t add things at window. So I pulled back through the drive thru again. By this time one car had pulled in front of me but I was still able to order my strawberry freeze .When I pulled up to the window to pay for the order the employee informs me that they threw our food away but I can clearly see our drinks from the 1st order we made in the window still. When I ask her why she threw our things away she stated it was because we had pulled off but she’s the one who informed us to pull back around . I then ask to speak with the manager who unbeknownst to us has been the lady standing next to her the whole time. She replies “Okay but my manager is just going to tell you the same thing “ with an attitude. The manager gets in the window and tells us that because the employee told her we “pulled off” she threw our things away and to pull back around for a 3rd time to order our meals. I asked the manager what her name was and she says “WHY?!!”. I told her I wanted to file a complaint. She then says her name is Becky and didn’t provide a last name.We ended up leaving and I filed a complaint.Customer service is garbage and so are the employees including...
Read moreI took a drive to the border to find my local store has converted to a minimal almost no human ordering system. It was about 10:00 p.m. and the drive-thru was packed so I decided to go inside 3 people in the lobby or whatever you call it and I asked the young man to take order he said he couldn't take my order that I had to order via the online system or their in store self serve system.. There was a extra large size device for me to use to input my order. Maybe this is the wave of the future? I don't know but I do believe if that's what they want to do they need to make sure people are prepared for that when they arrive at their establishment. I was quite put off by it. I don't mean to sound like a Luddite. I have no problem with technology. But this kind of transition needs a little bit of work in my humble opinion. By the way my food was great as usual, excellently prepared I watched them make it and no problems there ,that part of the equation seems to work just fine.. lastly I must give some props to the people that were in the store working for Taco Bell at the time I did observe them help numerous customers with the monitor input system as they attempted to order their food. I know it's hard to get good help nowadays and these folks...
