Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Elyria

Oh my God I have not been to long john Silvers in over 20 maybe 25 years. But I remember how good it was. I used to get a fried fish sandwich.Sometimes hush puppies, just all of it was so good. I went in yesterday. I only bought Hush Puppies because I looked at the menu. And I also was on a time limit, everything was about almost $10 in. Well, you know having that gone in so many years. I remember when the menu used to be like 3 or 5 Dollars? And I didn't have a lot of time to really skim over the menu. I think next time I have to go past there. Which will be in another week or so? I'll probably go in & see if they have a chicken sandwich. You know the batter fried chicken sandwich. I don't know, but it's really good and the staff is very very nice, and I guess because it's one of the last ones. The atmosphere is awesome. It's just like it used to be. I have no complaints. It's a place that if I was craving for this and I would be again after having the Hush Puppies. And they remind me, just like they used to be, I would drive 20 miles to go there. My husband went to the long John silver's today since it had been a very long time since we had been there terrible service he had to wait then when he got home we realized there was 8 pieces of shrimp not even put in there he said he thought it was a little light he paid 3299 for a family feast which the manager told me did not have shrimp in it but it did on this paper here it says family feast so If for a manager she doesn't even know what she's like terrible very but the salt is terrible the fish does not taste the same the breading doesn't taste the same I would not recommend anybody to go there I would go to McDonald's next time or Teddy kings you get a lot for your money and it tastes a lot better disappointed in the area 3299 we paid for some fish and chicken and some hush puppyes we had a coast law which wasn't even filled to the top and the green beans I could have paid 50 sub cents for it save a lot crazy crazy service never again...

Terrible experience. Waited in the drive thru for 25 minutes and when I received my food, the drink was flat and there were no hush puppies in my box. I went inside and was told that they threw the mix away because they were closing soon and that it would take an hour to make more. It was 5:45 and they close at 7:30. The fact I was not informed at this at the drive thru window and paid for hush puppies is disgraceful and extremely unprofessional. How do you let a customer pay for food and sneak nothing giving it to them. Also they didn’t do anything to make it right. No exchange or my money back for the hush puppies.
