Volpe's Sports Bar-Emmaus — Restaurant in Emmaus

Came in a bit late for food and drinks. Female bartender in a camp green eagles sweater was bartending. Decently nice but obviously her friends were at the bar because it took her quite sometime to greet us. Afterwards, she makes are beverages and then returns to talk to her friends and chat with other bar guests that already had beverages and services taken. I don’t write negative reviews often but i felt as if i wasn’t wanted( my fiancé and i). Please pay attention to people who walk into your bar. I watched you for 5-10 min talk about your dog instead of come and take my order or ask of us if we are ready or attend to the 2nd couple that walked in 20 min after. We could have left and she wouldn’t have noticed.

However, Every facility has issues sometimes and people get sidetracked and are enjoying themselves. I will be back because food is good and service normally is fine.

Just pay more attention and care more. I leave great tips and i certainly left her less than 10% so she knows i didn’t appreciate her service as much as i would have liked to and took my food to go because i did not want to spend anymore money there or time.

Volpes is a great spot! I did have one not so great experience months ago, but I think it was more so the person bartending not wanting to do her job and/or not completely doing her job. Which was a shock, because all the other bartenders I have had and had after the experience are always amazing. Though I was upset/bummed about it at first, when it happened. I realise, that her lacking is not something to hold against an entire establishment, as every other time I have been in before and been in since then, it was great time! Seems like whatever the issue was it was handled quickly! Beer list is big and has great variety. Food is always delicious especially their soups!!! This is me and my fiancés favorite place to have some great food and a few beers, for sure our "go to". The owner was even nice enough to allow us to come in and take some engagement pictures, since we both love beer and volpes!!! It really is an awesome spot and friendly...

Volpes is a staple in the Lehigh valley! The food is great - especially he buffalo chicken cheesesteak and pierogies! Bartenders are always ready to serve. We hosted a bachelor party in the back room and it was super private with own bartender for a great price! They always have specials and some sort of entertainment- live music or DJs. Fran the owner is wonderful and if one of the apartments above the bar go up for rent apply immediately! I lived there on two separate occasions in a one and two bedroom.
