Service was very slow. Didn't know whether to wait for a hostess or to seat ourselves. We waited at the table dang near 5 minutes before we were even greeted. Complimentary chips were very overcooked and hard. Food was bland. Chiccarones were hard as a rock. Really the only thing decent was the guacamole served with the "rocks". This restaurant is a true gem. Our server was so friendly and kind. The food was nothing short of perfection. We had the carne asada. It was tender, flavorful, and a huge portion. The guacamole was not to be missed. It had so much depth to its flavor. The highlight, for me, was their homemade horchata. This was no pre-made horchata. Hey! This place is great! Remember that food truck attached to the space on the north side of commercial? They have a home, now. This was the freshest, most will presented Mexican food I've had in town. The restaurant was small and clean. They take pride in the food and it shows. You should definitely give this place a shot.
