Since I enjoy antique stores. I thought I'd stop by this one. Find me a Victorian north wind Anemoi door knob. I saw a friend of mine at the store front about to go get his carry out at China Dragon, asked him to join me. I had lots of questions. Alex just knew everything, but I enjoyed his Japanese carvings (netsuke and Kamakura-bori). That he has in the cabinet up front.

If you are ever in Emporia or live nearby, you must check out this place. I've personally spent a lot of time antiquing in California and Colorado, but the selection and pricing at De Stijl is fantastic. He answered all of my questions and showed me some examples of what I might find interesting. I’m a college student so I didn’t have a ton of money to spend, and he was glad to show me some lower end items.
