My daughter wanted to go here for her birthday. She wanted to eat their Brussel sprouts. (Yes. This is true.). The roasted Brussel sprouts were actually pretty good but that's where the compliments end.
They serve Diet Dr. Pepper and regular Mr. Pibb. I ordered Dr Pepper and got diet soda. I know it was my fault for not reading the menu close enough but who serves Dr. Pepper and Mr. Pibb at the same restaurant? My second glass was actual Dr. Pepper but it was room temperature and totally flat. I don't know which drink was worse.
I ordered the half pound mushroom and Swiss burger. I've eaten plenty of 1/2 pound burgers and it looked like a quarter pound to me. The meat was dry. It had Swiss cheese and mushrooms on it but no "gravy". It would have certainly made it easier to swallow.
The waitress was friendly but didn't impress me. She was totally average.
My wife had eaten there before at lunch and didn't like it. She didn't understand why my daughter chose this restaurant. I'm going to avoid it in the future. There are much better places to...

The food here warmed my soul, and the friendliness warmed my heart. Ashley welcomed me in instantly, and served me some tea even though it wasn't even on their menu. I had their cheesy jalapeno poppers and their spiced caramel Bundt cake. Both items were really good, but the cake was exceptional. It was warm, and super moist. The sweet and sticky caramel sauce complimented the mild Christmas-y spices, and the toffee crumble on top added a delicious soft crunch, making the cake tick all the right boxes.
The environment is classic American, beautiful set up dark mahogany bar and wooden table and chairs throughout. It filled up very quickly after sunset, even on New Year's Day, so I'm sure on any usual day it would be full of people having a good time with their friends and family. Lots of stories and laughter. It...
Read moreWent in to get family dinner. Was sat after about five minutes of standing at the door, then sat for another 15 before someone asked if we had even been greeted. Took our waitress another five minutes to come ask if we wanted anything to drink. Got our food and it was subpar. Nothing to write home about. Then sat around for 10-15 minutes after we had all collectively finished eating. A different waitress asked if we were ready to pay so we did. Left the establishment and the girl who was our waitress came running out side after we had gotten into our vehicle to leave trying to chase us down. Strange, so we went back thinking maybe we had left something. No, come to find out she had complained to other patrons thinking we had dined and dashed but was no where to be found when we got back inside. Had she been attentive and doing her job she would have been the one to check us out. Needless to say for my first impression of this place, I will not be coming back...
