Cowboy Cafe — Restaurant in Emporia

OVERPRICED. Was told the buffet needed 'replenished' and after about 5 minutes was told it was good to go. The fake eggs were sitting in a gallon of melted margarine, the sausage pattys were microwaved great value, the cinnamon rolls were from a can and sooo burnt and hard. The bacon was crispy to the point you could break a tooth on it. I'm surprised the buffet table/location even passes inspection. Reviews are very misleading, would have been better stopping...

Delicious food and wonderful service. Note: don’t go on Wednesdays if you aren’t a part of the stock sales. Did not know that was a thing (just moved here) and had to deal with the smell. I was lucky to be in town on the day they’re open. Excellent breakfast buffet with lots of meat, biscuits and gravy, and delicious cinnamon rolls.
