Mizumi — Restaurant in Emporia

I went here on Saturday for the first time and I was sorely disappointed. I only ordered two items, a veggie roll and an eel roll, and it was basically all rice and hardly any filling to the roll. It also tasted like they are seasoning their rice too much with rice vinegar, which makes the rice have a strong flavor as well as makes it kind of mushy. I only spent $12 so not the end of the world, but in this economy is very disappointing to “splurge” on buying take-out only for it to be a waste of money. So I will not be returning. I got the hibachi chicken entree and it was hard to eat. The chicken was literally the driest chicken I've ever had in my life. I've never had pieces of white meat chicken that were so dry it was hard to bite through. I was really excited to try this place and was let down, heavily. Some of the kindest people you can meet. I go there for lunch during the work week and I get the same thing every time right (The Hollywood Roll 🔥) Did that for like 3 weeks or so and the chef there just lights up when he sees me and says "Ayyyyy Hollywoooood!!!"
