As I am not a local to San Diego metro, I cannot speak to whether the location is a popular area. However, Crispy Burger is one of those gem finds. As I was traveling to San Diego, I saw a Starbucks and stopped by for coffee. this seems to be common based on some reviews. Then, I saw this interesting place called Crispy Burger next door and decided to try it out.

I ordered the original burger and crispy's crazy fries both of which have a Philly cheesesteak like cheez whiz melted of goodness. I am biased for cheese so be prepared for loads of melted cheese on both the burger and fries. If not a cheese lover, you may want to ask for less as it is a lot.

There are typically two types of delicious bugers, a clean side and hearty side. This one was definitely hearty which is no problem at all. What I would have liked on the burger is some toppings such as lettuce, tomato, and pickled onions or something alike which would complement the burger tremendously based on being so hearty. Regardless, for this type of burger, well played. As another comment mentioned, the burger and fries at Crispy Burger almost tastes like a slightly higher quality In N Out but with more cheez whiz! Do not kill the messenger Californians. If this is your style of burgers, definitely check them out. They are also a newer establishment so Yelpers go!

I also had an opportunity to try their strawberry milkshake which is very creamy and loads of strawberriness. Definitely recommend as well.

i love this resturaunt the owner is an amzing person, and so is his wife it is a family own business and is a mom and pop shop burgers are so delicious and the seasoned fries and onion rings are out of this world I love it more then in n out burgers honestly. I have eaten here 3 times and i am hooked i love the cowboy burger because the owner put his own twist into it by adding mayo and bbq sauce and onion ring in it with jalepeńos but everything looks good even their impossible burger that is plant based and will try soon they have real icecream milkshakes that taste old fashioned and the food is so fresh they employees are so professional when it comes to customer care and customer service they put alot of love in what they do it even beats island burgers, smash burgers and habit burgers 100x more better. i highly reccomend this place in luecadia on orpheus. across the street from the gas station and next to starbucks. the owner has treated me like family showed me alot of love I loved that i will always return to him. and eat at his establishment. please eat at yhe crispy burger you wont regret it. and its worth every penny &...

10 STAR customer service! This was our first visit. The family and I are always looking forward to new and interesting places to grab lunch. This was no exception and it exceeded our expectations. We ordered 3 burgers, onion rings, fries, and the crispy crazy fries. Since there is no seating we took our order to go and drove about 10mins to a park to eat. When we sat down and pull out our food and found only 2 burgers in the bag. So we called and they apologized for the mess up and offered to drive to our location and bring the other burger to us. We felt that was a generous offer but we told them we would come back a get it. When we arrived back they had a freshly made burger, with an additional order of fries and a condolence Oreo shake for the inconvenience. Over all the food was great, burgers are excellent, fries and onion rings are great, the staff was extremely helpful on our first visit.
