We made reservations for lunch ..... which is almost unheard of ..... but totally worth it (35 min line to sit wo). The menu might be small, but every bite packs serious flavor and precision.
Drinks were light, refreshing, and perfectly cleansed the palate between bites. (ESCOBAR AVE.- take on a Martini & WINGED Ripper - take on a Nigiri ) The pickles? Absolute perfection ..... crunchy, tangy, with just the right kick to wake up your taste buds.
Now, the star of the show: BirdMan Chicken Sandwich 360...up to 720 (kickflip spicy). It’s everything you want ...... balanced heat that builds in the back of your mouth but still lets every flavor shine through. Paired with duck fat fries that are crunchy, golden, and “large and in charge,” it’s comfort food elevated to art.
Heads up: parking is a bear .... seriously, don’t even try it. Park nearby, not bothering the neighbors and enjoy a short walk; the food’s worth the extra steps.

I’m a local builder (West Coast Deck), so I notice craftsmanship and design everywhere I go — and Chick & Hawk absolutely blew me away. The place looks amazing. The woodwork, the metalwork, the layout — you can tell it was built with care and pride. Every detail feels solid, thoughtful, and custom.
And the vibe? 10/10. It’s got that laid-back Leucadia energy but still feels super polished. The music’s great, the staff is friendly, and the whole place just feels good to be in.
The food completely lives up to the hype — that chicken sandwich is crispy perfection, and everything on the menu feels like elevated comfort food done right.
Tony Hawk and the crew totally nailed it. You can tell this wasn’t just another restaurant opening — it’s a passion project. The kind of place you instantly want to make your spot.
Proud to have this kind of quality and craftsmanship right here in our neighborhood. Stoked to see Chick & Hawk become a Leucadia...

We came at 5pm and were sat right away, there's plenty of tables but the way the house is sectioned off it feels cozy. Parking is super limited so we parked across the street. We split the chicken sandwich and a regular fry which was plenty of food for us, and I got the ginger beer raspberry yuzu flavor which was all delicious. Planning on going back for the fish sandwich and the extensive cocktail menu. My little sister is a little sensitive to spice and she said the mildest was a little too spicy for her. The crispiness on the chicken was perfect, and the sauce was really good. Service was great and the food came...
