I ordered a delicious Mediterranean Crunch Salad & a cup of Greek lemon chicken & Farrow soup. Initially, the downside was the wait, to top it off my food was served to the wrong table by the server. However, "Angie" made it right. She took the reigns & delivered the correct order to the other customer & then asked me if I wanted anything while I waited for them to make my salad. I requested my soup & she brought me a bowl vs the cup I had ordered initially. She also offered to bring me some bread to accompany & dip in my soup. I loved the toasted sourdough she brought over to me. Shortly after my salad was served & again, not at all disappointed. Angie took the bull by the horns, acknowledged there had been an error in serving our food & made it right. I felt like a valued customer. When businesses get things right we need to bring that to light as quickly as we would express our dissatisfaction. Thank you Angie! You are a valuable Mendocino employee. You covered for the one that messed up & provided quality customer service to a very satisfied customer, ME! This girl should get promoted or give her a well earned pay bump! I liked the food a lot I really did and I wish I could've eaten it all but my strep throat won't allow me to because everything hurts my throat. I am questioning the fact that some parts of my sandwich, which was called "not so fried chicken sandwich" had fries bits in it. I do feel really bad for the waiter because 2 ladies got a bit too impatient with the waiter because she put one of their food items in a to go bag when it wasn't supposed to be. It made me mad that when the waiter walked away TO HELP THE LADIES with their 10 requests, they said "she has no idea what she is doing" even though she was obviously . What this has to with the review is that the atmosphere felt tense and it wasn't just those ladies that made the atmosphere feel tense.
