This Starbucks is conveniently located near the rail trail where we walk our pup at minimum once a week. I get it’s a busy location because of how conveniently located it is, I also understand that at times they are very busy, or that they may be short staffed, or that they may be training someone new. What I can not understand is how the baristas at this location are DOWN RIGHT RUDE! There are two primary functions of your job, make coffee and provide customer service. At this point your failing at both! What has put me over the edge for which I vow never to order from this location again (I rather get back in my car and go to the Leucadia / I-5 location) is the rude baritas. Ignoring your customers, acting as if your too busy to pause a sec, or simply pretending you did not hear me will not change the fact I need something from you. When I finally get your attention you are rude and treat your customers as if we are inconveniencing you. This location has stopped embodying what one has come to expect from...
Read moreWorst Starbucks experience I've had. I had given my order to the person at the cash register and had my money in hand. Someone (possibly her shift supervisor) came over and told her to leave and go make drinks. Then he told me that I'd have to go to the other line to order (even though I'd already ordered). Got to stand in line, and then repeat my order. This person was very brusque and rude. My cashier could have finished my transaction and then gone to making drinks - or he could have made a couple of drinks while she finished up. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper when I left. Not the fault of my cashier, or the young man who did take my order who were both very nice but the "shift supervisor" or whoever he is should not be working there. We had previously visited the Starbucks in Encinitas (just down the road) and they were GREAT! Will not go back to the...
Read moreMy espresso was consistent with what I've become accustomed with Starbucks, nice earthy flavor. The two stars is for the service. I am at a Starbucks somewhere in the world nearly every day. I have never had to wait so long for my drink, even on the busiest day. When I arrived, there was one person in front of me. It took twenty minutes to get a quad Espresso. The only thing I could think of was they must have been focused on the mobile orders instead of the Customers in the shop. It's a beautiful location but if this is how they want to run their store they could save a lot of money with just a walk up window. I will come here again for the location, but not if I have...
