Oh wow! I'd give 10 stars if I could! First, the lady who served me was great. She was very friendly and accommodating with a sweet smile. The place was clean and the food was served quick and hot. Now for the food... to die for! I've been a bit obsessed with Thailand lately and have been getting Thai food from all over. This place is on the top of my list. I ordered Pineapple curry with chicken medium hot. The heat was just right and it was packed full of chicken and veggies. Some places give you more sauce than food. This curry was very good and hit the spot! Well worth the money. I also ordered the chicken satay. They were the biggest pieces of chicken, seasoned just right and served with what I'm assuming to be homemade peanut sauce. Delicious. Additionally, I got the crab cheese wontons that were so cheesy they didn't need any sauce, and the vegetable egg rolls that were so fat and crispy, filled with the freshest veggies. Did I mention everything tasted fresh, especially the veggies in the curry? Wrap that all up with the best Thai tea. So good that I had to ask for seconds. I'm definitely going back again soon. A raawy kha! (Please tell me if my Thai is incorrect above....

Went here the other day, when we got in there were 3 groups including our own. We overheard a customer saying that this wasn't their check and they were being overcharged, the woman claimed it was a mistake and fixed it. Took a long time to get our food, which wasn't bad but definitely didn't stand out. With only 2 tables in the restaurant you'd imagine service would be decent, but it took multiple times waving the waitress down to get a refill on water. Finally, when the check for our table came I pulled out my wallet and prepared to pay not thinking to double check the bill. The person I was with said that we should check it to make sure we weren't being overcharged like the other group. We grabbed the menu and compared the prices seeing that we also were being overcharged just like the last group of people. We pointed this out to the waitress who gave the same excuse she gave the other people and went back to her business.

Too long, didn't read version: The service was crap and the waitress will attempt to charge you more than your meal is worth....

My husband and I initially decided to try Aung's because of the amazing reviews of the food and service. On our first trip to Aung's Bangkok Cafe the service was terrible. We ordered basil fried rice and ended up getting pineapple fried rice, and after politely notifying the server of the mistake, she tried arguing with me that she "heard" me say pineapple and when I asked her to change the order she continued to argue. Once she finally decided to give us what we ordered, she threw the plate down and stormed off. This also happened to a group of ladies sitting a few tables away from us at the same time.

After much hesitation, we decided to order take out from Aung's and give them a second chance because, despite our first experience, their food is very good. Half way through eating one of our entrees, I bit into something hard and pulled it out to find that it was a piece of GLASS.

We are thoroughly disappointed by Aung's because they have great food, but the service and care towards their product is very subpar, they will not be getting a...

3.5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Family owned Thai restaurant. Service is great and staff is friendly. The food in my opinion was ok. Although I do recommend you go check it out as most folks think this is the best Denver based Thai restaurant - this is only my second Thai place in Denver so I don’t have much to compare against. It doesn’t seem vegetarian or vegan friendly when it comes to appitizers but entrees seem to be ok. The Tofu Larb was decent not anything special has its cubes tofu. If you have had chicken Larb before you know traditionally it’s minced chicken but can’t be replicated for tofu. Veg spring rolls were good and crispy and will recommend. The drunken noodles and pad Thai were bland and could use some more flavor perhaps more salt and spice.

I have tried many Thai restaurants in the Denver metro area over the years and I am so thankful to finally have found the best spot to get some amazing authentic Thai food. I've been going to Aung's for a year now and finally getting around to writing a well deserved review with some great pics. The service is always quick, welcoming and friendly. The food by far has always hit the right spot and been delicious!!! Hands down the best Thai in Denver. I've tried at least 10 different menu items and have been pleased with every one of them. The Pad Thai is my favorite with Pad Prik King being a close second. Don't pass this place up and go support a family owned authentic place to eat. Hope you enjoy their food as much as I do. 😍

Was there for the first time. Went for a quick lunch as "Pearl of Siam" is still not offering dine in and this place was highly rated. Being a vegetarian, ordered vegan options and the server was very accommodating. Had Tom yum soup and drunken noodles. Both dishes tasted ok but I have had better Thai food at other restaurants in Denver. The location had very limited parking and even during a work week, finding parking was difficult. Not sure how it's managed at weekend and during dinner hours. Also, the prices were on higher side for lunch menu but that could be due to the excuse of COVID and the inflation being high.
