The good: seated quickly despite not having a reservation the staff is mostly attentive beautiful atmosphere and the staff leans towards a higher end experience jalepeno artichoke dip is delicious! jumbo shrimp cooked perfectly along with perfectly steamed scallops and al dente pasta

The not so good: portion size not worth the price...not even close. I've never had such bland shrimp and scallops! And at $25. I get more flavor in my frozen meal prep I get delivered for only $8.50 a serving that's comparable size!... It wouldn't hurt to add some a hint of sauteed garlic, red pepper, and paprika. A hint of lemon and shrimp in a light butter sauce could have really livened up this dish... actually it would have made it what it should be! focaccia chips were hit and miss. Some pieces were way over crisped. drinks were topped off a bit late. Mine was near empty and a sip away from.being done. The manager was walking by thankfully and asked what I was having to grab me a refill the wait staff was professional but had no energy and it didn't seem like they enjoyed being there -the 3 hosts (not that many needed) seemed to be looking around the whole time I bwas there people watching and snickering about everybody in the restaurant. Is this high school? C'mon. Not professional at all. oh and don't get me started on that water carafe... Is that seriously tap water? Not classy

I'd definitely like to give this place one more chance but I won't be going back with such high expectations. Maybe then I won't leave so...

Good American Italian food. Generally you can always distinguish between American Italian and traditional Italian (or at least attempted traditional Italian) by their lasagna. Do they use a Béchamel sauce or Ricotta. This place uses the latter. Everything is pretty fairly priced. If you’re ordering a steak, be sure to ask for the size. After frequenting steakhouses recently I almost tricked myself into thinking $21 and some change was a good deal for a New York Strip. It wasn’t until I inquired about it that I found out about the measly 8oz that would’ve been placed in front of me. Personally I haven’t come across an 8oz New York strip recently, and wasn’t interested in finding out.

I had the the Bolognese, which was alright, although the pasta had clearly been cooked at too High a temperature as it was al dente at its core, but overly mushy on the exterior. My wife had the shrimp scampi, and she summed up the food in a nutshell “it was ok, but I wouldn’t come back.”

If you’re looking for comparisons to other restaurants, I would say this is much like Maggiano’s Little Italy, without the value for money.

The highlight of my meal was the bread pudding dessert, which was doughy, and decadent.

All of the food aside, the staff were welcoming, and our server was attentive to our needs. No complaints at all on that end.

Overall I’d give this place a 5/10. You won’t leave feeling ripped off, but you’ll leave feeling a little...

I saw other reviews that this is the place to be if your gluten free. So I had to come check it out. The parking lot is small, but all the other businesses were closed, so many parking spots. This place was unique, quaint, and tasteful. Why? The decor was elegant but modern. It was a small venue but very taste food. The staff and environment were just right. I had an option to get pizzas, pastas, or a salad. I went for the salad. Why? I saw one go by me when I was seated at a table. If you look at the pictures, you know why now. I love avocado, which was fresh, grilled chicken, feta, hard-boiled egg, and good lettuce. Not the cheap iceberg lettuce here. The dress was just right, too. After getting full on this, I asked about dessert. I was surprised to have several options to choose from, but I went with the flourless chocolate cake with strawberries, ice cream, and whipped cream. I loved that they have an open brick oven to cook their pizzas, etc. There's nothing like a pizza baked in a brick oven, in my opinion.

Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely

Would I return to this place? Absolutely

Don't take my word for it. Go see for yourself.

Also, kudos to the lovely ladies who allowed me to take their picture. They have been best friends forever, and great to see them still getting together after all these years.

This is a family...

Updqte: 2024‐April. There were a few parking spaces at the back during a late lunch. There was no wait. The bread and drinks were served quickly. I asked for warm bread and our server was kind enough to get me fresh-from-the-oven breads. The calamari, shrimp scampi, and lobster ravioli were all delicious! I have been here so many times and I have never been disappointed. Marley, our server, was awesome! She checked on us frequently and refilled our drinks as needed. 2 entrees, 1 appetizer, 1 fountain drink, amounted to $60 (before tips). Delicious food, awesome service, and a cozy atmosphere!! You should try this restaurant! Bon Appétit 😋 ________________________________ Update: We were here for lunch.. Parking was beside the building and there were lots of spaces. We were seated quickly. The waitress was very attentive. The food was very good and the price was in the mid-range for lunch. ______________________ We were here for dinner on a Friday night and still had to wait for about 15 minutes even with a reservation. As usual, the food was delicious. The service was great!

We just moved into this area, we came across Colore and thought we would try it. What an amazing meal and exceptional service! Jessica was our server and she provided an exceptional experience! The prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. We enjoyed a couple of cocktails, appetizers, dinner and dessert. The presentation of the food was beautiful and the flavors were a bouquet on the palette! We sat on the covered patio and had a nice quiet dinner. I would HIGHLY recommend Colore Italian Restaurant. You may have to call for reservations on a busy night. The peach bread pudding and pistachio Gelato were delicious! Thank you Colore! I invited two guests to dinner here. Without reservations, we had a bit of a wait which was fine. I was embarrassed having told our guests the service was exceptional. Our server only came to our table once. I wanted their experience to be what we encountered on 8/9/2022. We may have to rethink Colore because of inconsistencies in food and service.
