We were looking for a new spot to try for brunch. I wanted bottomless mimosas this morning. After doing some research & review reading, I decided to try this place. It was around 20 mins from our house, but absolutely worth the little drive. First, we lucked out & found someone backing out of a parking lot that was packed full. They have a nice sized patio outside and indoors it was bustling with chatter & a very high vibe atmosphere. We were seated within a couple minutes, surprisingly. The tables are closed together, just FYI for neurodivergent people with anxiety issues, like myself. But I quickly got comfortable bc the energy in the atmosphere was very positive & welcoming. Our server Jasmine was astounding!! Super cheerful & seems to have her timing down to perfection. I ordered the specialty bottomless Mimosas (today it was orange juice, grapefruit juice, peach schnapps & champagne & topped with a gummy shark. She just kept filling me up without even asking, which was so awesome. It was only $14 and some change. Which is what I've spent on one Martini at my 2nd fave brunch spot (this place now taking 1st place). We also ordered the jalapeño bacon wrapped figs. They were perfect! Just the right size, sweet with the slightest hint of jalapeño (not spicy at all). It came with a house made strawberry rhubarb compote. I ordered the butternut squash pancakes which were incredible. Perfect Flap Jack griddle style & it had some sort of cinnamon honey butter on top. Hubby had the Cactus scramble & loved it. The little round hashbrown patties were great. Loved the crispy on outside but soft on inside texture. I can't enough good things about this place & we'll definitely be back. The prices were more than reasonable for...
Read moreWent in for breakfast, sat at the bar area and was served by the bartender named Kelli. Normally I have a great experience at this restaurant, but today I was disappointed and disrespected. I asked Kelli if my meal can be cooked with shelled eggs she said no. I let her know that I cannot eat the liquid egg product due to it containing milk, have had meals there previously using shelled eggs and wanted my scramble to be cooked with shelled eggs. She responded with “He isn’t going to do that,” assuming she was talking about the chef. She said she would ask, came back and proceeded to take my order asking me how I wanted my eggs cooked. When I asked for scrambled eggs soft without using butter/dairy, she said ok and told me the potato cakes that come with the meal have dairy. I told her “those don’t seem to bother me” and she actually scoffed and smirked at me. This is NOT how someone should be treated with visiting an establishment to receive service of any kind. The meal came out, cooked in butter and I was not able to eat any of the meal, but still paid for it without complaining. This was one of my favorite spots to dine because they can and always have accommodated dairy concerns, but today was very different. This is the second time I recieved poor service from Kelli, so I have decided to...
Read moreOf course we made our decision to visit this brunch spot because of the 4.4 stars/reviews. Now IDK why this place would have so many stars or good reviews, because the food was HORRIBLE. Our server was kind, unfortunately we didn't get enough attention ( very busy), after she took our order she was on the run, I had to get up a few time to find someone to give us more napkins/butter etc. I had veggie breakfast, that came with eggs/choice of pancakes. My eggs were over cooked, I was able to break 1 egg for yolk. All the veggies were soaked in either oil or butter, thin asparagus were not cooked, red peppers overcooked/mushy, and a side of hash browns were burnt, and greasyyyyy, pancakes were chewy/cooked on 1 side. I barely touched my plate, our teen g-daughter only ate her scrambled eggs and bacon. After informing the server, she was kind enough to remove 1/2 of price on our g-daughtrs plate, and the entire amount of my food. Although I do not blame server for lack of attention, again very busy, nor for the food. I must say that we do not enter any establishments to get free or reduced meals. We would like our eyes and especially our taste buds to enjoy whats being served. Breakfast is a simple meal. Please try to better with food. Note Pics: hash browns & veggies...
