Denny's — Restaurant in Englewood

i had given up on Denny's a long time ago because of bad food and especially bad service. One Sunday we wanted a late brunch and everyone in Englewood was either closing or didn't offer it at 2:00pm. out of desperation, we went to Denny's. We walked in expecting the same drill and was shocked to be greeted by an incredible server with a great attitude that put us in a terrific mood immediately. The ever charming and delightful, Donna, escorted us to our table and our coffee was on the table in two minutes. Before ordering I noticed that, in someones infinite wisdom or just happenstance, couples were in a quieter area and families with young children were in another. If this happened by accident, it was a pleasant one. After discussing changes to the menu and brilliantly informing us what to expect from the meals we were deciding on, our orders were taken swiftly. The meals came out in a timely manner. The food quality was incredible and delicious. The entire experience was delightful. Kudos to Denny's and especially Donna, You changed my mind, got it right, and have a great - talented staff. Thank you for getting it right. You are now my go to place for a late weekend brunch (and more) I'm looking forward to...

I go here from time to time, never again after today. I ordered a grand slam sandwich. Should have bacon, ham, and sausage. One half had only 1 see thru slice of ham no other meat. The other side had same ham and a small bacon bit looking piece of bacon. I ordered a drink so the bill was $22. When I ask waitress to look at sandwich she replied” it’s suppose to have sausage and bacon” then walked away. So I then told cashier and showed her, she verified that it should have had 3 meats. . But again a blank stare. I ask will they account for the lack of meaton bill and she walked off. The manager lady comes over, I show her and she starts to argue that she sees bacon!!!. I say, ok bacon bit! but where is sausage? She then gets mad storms off to back while I’m just standing there. She Then goes to wait on to another customer. All this while I’m at checkout counter. I finally flag her down and shrug my shoulders as if “what now” she tells me to go on that we are done!!!. She was obviously mad at me for their mistake. And the other two waitresses had no intention to help. I’ll never go back. The place looks like...

Had work being done at the Ford dealer next door and decided to have lunch. What a mistake! Had a double cheese burger with onion rings. This had to be the greasiest burger that l have ever had! Couldn't even hold the bun because the bottom bun was saturated in grease.About halfway thru the burger l just couldn't eat anymore due to the grease was making my stomach sick. Got about 6 onion rings which were good. Bill was $16 for the worst burger l have ever had! Waitress was very attentive which was a plus. Very few people inside and all sitting in one area, but then they start mopping the floors in that area! If they neededto mop the floors , they should have sat people on the other side that was vacant. Instead they mop the floor were a load of senior citizens are sitting, just a lawsuit waiting to happen since majority of them had canes and walkers! Not the smartest thing to do!

Update... this was all l have eaten today. Now 7 hours later l am eating pepto bismal like they are coming out of a PEZ dispenser. NEVER AGAIN WILL I...
