For almost a year, I would drive by this place and see the opening soon sign. Finally, they are open! I came here last month during their soft opening and ordered the yangnyeum bone-in chicken and the snowing cheese bone-in chicken. The yangnyeum was my absolute favorite. The snowing cheese was interesting. It was new to me so I wasn't sure how I felt about it at first. I like it but I got overwhelmed with the flavor after eating 5 pieces. My husband felt the same. This weekend, I went back and order original boneless, yang, and honey brown. All three were delicious. And for the price, definitely worth it! Both times I went there, the staff were friendly and helpful. I asked about the soy garlic chicken. The staff said they are waiting for the sauce which is being shipped from Korea! He anticipates it will be there around July. I also ordered the tteobokki this weekend. It was good but I found it to be on the pricer side. I don'tthink I would order it again unless I'm havinga big craving for it. My husband who is Korean was disappointed they don't give radishes with the chicken orders like other chicken places. They said by not giving the radishes, that is how they are able to keep the price down. Sounds very reasonable which doesn't bother me at all.
Since opening a month again, they have improved on their wait time. First time here, we were told a 45 minutes wait. Now it's about 15 to 20 minutes wait. Inside is very nice and clean. While there are chairs, you can't really sit down and eat inside. It's a grab and go kind of place. They have a kiosk to place your order if you don't want to talk to a human. They also have a points system to get free food in the future. When you arrive, there are street parking right in front of the restaurant. All in all, I highly recommend this new...
Read moreReally solid Korean fried chicken. Tried both the Yangnyeom and snowing cheese wings. The Yangnyeom sauce was really tasty - sweet and savory at the same time, though I think they needed a little salt. These weren't as crispy as the snowing cheese wings, but the chicken was tender and juicy, and the wings were nicely sized. Overall, I enjoyed both flavors, and am looking forward to when they start selling soy garlic wings - my usual go to when ordering Korean fried chicken.
Service was friendly, though my order did take a while. Chalking that up to the grand opening and BOGO deal they had going. Even with the extended time on my first order, will definitely be ordering from them again and very happy to have KFC of this quality within walking distance...
Read moreI eat at this Korean fried chicken spot at least once a week, and it never disappoints. The prices are honestly some of the best you'll find, especially for how much flavor, quality, AND quantity you get. Every time I order, the food comes out hot and crispy.
Every flavor of chicken they have is on point! Whether youre into sweet, spicy, or even the classic original, you cant go wrong. I've tried every sauce on the menu and I'd happily order them all again. Dont forget the tteokbokki! Its the perfect pairing of chewiness to go with that crispy chicken. The consistency at this place keeps me coming back, and its quickly become one of my go-to meals.
Highly recommend giving it a try! Once you do, you'll probably be coming back every week like...
