We have attempted to enjoy two meals from Colton’s on their opening week. Granted, these issues I’ll address could be new business problems, but this isn’t a new business. Yes, it’s a new location but as far as the franchise goes management should have a better roll out plan. Our first order was done over the phone for a take out because we didn’t want to be in the overly crowded dinning area. We placed the order with no issues, found a curbside pickup spot with no problem, paid and left with no problem. We got home and excitedly opened up our meal to realize we had gotten the wrong order...way wrong. The ticket for our meal stated it was for Sarah in a black Nissan, we have a silver Toyota . Yes I should have verified before we rolled away, but I’m fat and was excited for dinner. When we got back to the curbside we told the nice attendant what the situation was and she went back inside. Literally 15 minutes later she came back out to tell us sorry and they were working on the food now...again. 30ish minutes later we received our correct order. When we got the right order and back home the food was delicious and we enjoyed every bite of our Del Rio steak and Loaded chicken.
Tonight we said we don’t want to cook, let’s give them another shot. When I called the nice lady on the other end must have been the only one working the phone, bless her heart. I got told to hang on 4 times so she could answer the other line and answer questions. Again this is not her fault, she doesn’t have enough help and wasn’t trained properly on how to handle multiple calls. Even just a hold button so I couldn’t hear her answer the other phone would have been better. Regardless, she was very nice and apologetic for the situation. I place the order and go to pick it up. This time I verified the tag that it was my name and my order, but oops, should have checked the food to make sure it matched. I got home and we didn’t have our appetizer, then my food was cold, but my wife’s was warm and enjoyable. The grilled chicken sandwich also wasn’t my favorite. The flavor profile isn’t really there. It’s a salt and pepper chicken breast with bacon and a massive amount of cheese and a lot of bread from the bun.
I’m really hoping that this place gets the growing/newbie pains taken care of. Enid needs a place like this, just needs to work out some things. The employees are very nice and respectful, my complaint is logistics and food flavor...
Read moreVisiting from out of state, had the most disappointing dinner with family. Checked in at 5:30p.m. with a 30 minute wait for party of 6. At 6:30 p.m. realized other were going ahead of my party. When I inquired, we had accidentally been marked through as seated. The host apologized an said he would get a table. Nearing 7 p.m. we were seated near the bar. Being seated near the bar was the best part of my night because had the good fortune to have the hardest working server on the floor. The evening continued with dirty wrapped silverware, broken pepper mill, no peanuts offered, out of 9oz. Sirloin, one half of macaroni and cheese had onion flavor. Steaks finally come out only to have the medium well steak cooked to medium rare. The medium steaks were all cooked to medium as order. Steak was taken back by manager to cook. Manager started to walk by approximately 10 minutes later and realized we were still waiting for the steak. He turned back to the kitchen and returned several minutes later with steak cooked to medium instead of medium well. My niece accepted steak as she was quite hungry. There seemed to be very little concern about the mishaps through my family dinner! However the salads were very good as were our sides except the mac and cheese issue. The highlight of our evening was our server Jessica who was working the bar, serving tables, washing glasses and bussing her own tables. She had to be having an exhausting evening but she bounced around doing a wonderful job! She worked circles around every other staff member on the floor! I was happy to hear that they did not have to share tips on evenings so she could be recognized for her service. I have been in Food Service Management my whole career and I don't believe I have ever seen such a breakdown in service. Five...
Read moreIN ALL MY YEARS I HAVE NEVER BEEN REFUSED SERVICE BEFORE. WE HAD THE MOST ARROGANT BAR TENDER EVER. ONCE HE REALIZED THAT WE WERE OSU COWBOYS FANS HE STOPPED WAITING ON US. WE GOT THERE AROUND 1815, MADE IT TO THE BAR AND HE GREATED US & I ORDERED A TALL DRAFT, MY WIFE DISCUSSED WITH HIM OVER A MIXED DRINK. WHILE HE MADE HER DRINK WE VISITED WITH ANOUTHER COUPLE AND TALKED ABOUT OUR KIDS. THATS WHEN HE HEARD US MENTION THAT OUR DAUGHTER WAS DATING AN OKLAHOMA UNIVERISTY KID AND WE WERE GIVING HER A HARD TIME ABOUT IT, BUT JUST JOKING ABOUT IT, THAT MUST HAVE SET HIM OFF. HE MADE MY WIFES DRINK AND JUST WALKED OFF. I NEVER GOT MY BEER. HE WAITED ON OTHER PEOPLE AND JUST TOTTALY EGNORED US. NEVER DID HE MAKE EYE CONTACT OR BRING US MENUS OR ASK US ANYTHING AT ALL. (WE NEVER EVEN TALKED WITH HIM ONCE AFTER OUR DRINK ORDER). AFTER WAITING FOR MORE THAN 5 MINUTES, MY WIFE FINALLY ASKED HIM FOR MY DRINK. THATS WHEN HE CAME BACK WITH MY DRINK AND SAT IT IN FRONT OF HER AND SAID "HERES'S YOUR DRINK MAM" AND NEVER ACKNOLEDGED ME. I WOULD LIKE FOR MANAGEMENT TO REVIEW THE CAMERA FOOTAGE FOR VERIFICATION. TABLE 111/1 RECEPT 5/50041. AFTER REALIZING HIS SERVICE, WE GOT...
