Worst cheesesteak I have had. I have eaten here 20+ times. Always had a great cheesesteak. I’ve spoken to all my friends and said you’re great. I’ve often said the only reason you’re not always packed is location. You’re way better than Freddy’s but seem to do a fraction of the business. However last night Sat July 9th was different. I would not have known it was a cheesesteak if I hadn’t ordered it. Steak undercooked and I don’t think it had any cheese. If this was the first time I ordered one it would have been the last. I gave two stars because of past experience. This visit was a zero. I didn’t even get into the inability of cashier. The bill was $8.87. I gave her $8 and three quarters, a dime and two Pennie’s. ($8.87). She then said I 5c short. I asked her what change I gave her…. She thought about it and then said “how bout we never mention this again”. I thought was funny until I saw the sandwich I ordered. To the manager - please don’t do as you usually do. Thank me for my feedback, tell me you’ll bring this to attention of the cooks, tell me you “always” strive to be the best, and apologize. Boilerplate. All other questionable reviews are answered this way. Please be original. Instead try to make this right.
Even though I asked you not to give me boilerplate answer you did. I pretty near quoted what you said before you said it. At your management class did they teach you how to respond to this? As I asked before -...
Read moreEDIT: I went back and tried the shrimp po-boy. Shrimp was very good but the entire sandwich just didn’t quite come together for me? If you get anything, I would recommend anything with shrimp. Tried the onion rings this time around and wasn’t a fan of the type of batter they use, not much flavor and not very crispy. If the food wasn’t so expensive, I would probably rate it higher but they need to go back to the drawing board when it comes to seasoning. I don’t know if they just aren’t preparing it correctly or the recipe is just bland but for the price, it’s hard to really recommend this place. Employees in the drive-thru are very nice and friendly, though. Just wish the food was as good as their personalities
Original review: Food is bland, very bland. So bland I can’t have much of an opinion on it. The fries were also bland and almost dry? Like chewing paper, almost. Frozen fries in the bag are better and have more flavor. Glad I went through the drive-thru and took it home, but for $11 for a cheesesteak and some fries, I shouldn’t have to flavor it myself at home. Add some seasoning to the food, please. I hardly ever add salt or pepper to food in general, but the meat in the cheesesteak and the fries needed...
Read moreI've tried this place 3 times and truly wanted to like it. The first time was a bacon cheeseburger with a side of onion rings. The bacon was AWFUL and tasted like it had been left out all night and spoiled. The onion rings were great and came with a side of ranch that tasted homemade in a ramekin. Second visit was horrendous. I ordered the chicken tenders, onion rings and chili cheese tater tots. All of the food was COLD. It was if the food had been sitting there from maybe a previous wrong order. The onion rings were rock hard, dried up and the ranch was now a disgusting Ken's dressing packet (hoping this was a fluke but no). Well, here we are today and I ordered a Jalapeño Cheesesteak with onion rings. The onion rings were great but again, the ranch was another Ken's packet. As for the cheesesteak, ZERO cheese and the steak tasted like it was spoiled beef with a horrible flavor. This is now the second meal I had to trash. Came here for the reviews and clearly I'm not the only this has happened to unfortunately. When you're spending $12 per meal, this is unacceptable. There needs to be more consistency because...
