The coffee is good and so is the food i’ve tried. I used to go very often. However recently I have been noticing some things. The service isn’t great, you walk in and don’t get greeted or even asked “What would you like today?” They just expect you to start talking. Another thing I have experienced THREE times now is that if I go 1 or 2 hours before closing time and try to order food they tell me it’s not available. They have stated no food or donuts are being served, only drinks. When I asked what time they stopped serving food they just told me that the kitchen was already cleaned and closed. I believe food should be served up until closing time unless stated otherwise. If you’d like to close up kitchen earlier then just make an official announcement for that. So far I have not seen a sign or anything that states that the kitchen closes at a certain time. That being said I hope the owner becomes aware of the staff doing this.

Read moreVisited Romero’s, last weekend. The coffee was good, but WAY over priced. That’s saying a lot, since I get coffee daily and have tried alot of coffee shops. $8, for a medium sized coffee, that they call a large…is not worth the money. Since I live right by Romero’s and it’s so convenient, I decided to go again yesterday, instead of driving to Waxahachie for 7 Brew. I pulled up at 3:58. I looked at the clock, because I noticed they close at 4. I sat there and waited and the girl finally came to the window at 4:02. She said they were closed. I said, “Aren’t you just closing? You can’t make me an iced coffee?” She said no. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I realize it was Friday and she was clearly, ready to leave…but I was there before they closed. She heard me pull up and let me sit there, until they were closed. I guarantee, an owner wouldn’t turn away a customer. Really bad business. Great way to continue...

We walked in, were completely ignored by the two young ladies behind the counter for about a minute. My wife asked "just sit anywhere?" One of the staff said yes. We sat down and the two workers were stacking drink lids and other busy type work and still ignoring us.
After about three minutes of no interaction, we got up and walked out. One of the two said "have a nice day" as we walked out the door, without a hint of caring that we were leaving without any purchase.
We were wanting to give a new place a try, but they were not at all interested in greeting us, much less asking what we would like to have.
No details on food or drinks, we couldn't get that far. One star for food, because 0 stars...
