Ennis Railroad & Cultural Heritage Museum — Attraction in Ennis

This a small but very cool museum. My son is obsessed with trains and their history. The attendant was extremely friendly and was very kind. He let us view the inside of the caboose and we are extremely grateful for the experience. We were able to see a train pass by from the old platform area. This relatively small museum is packed with the historical marvels of when Ennis was the central hub for the great railway era of the late 1800s on into the early 1900s. Our boys loved the huge diorama and the many vintage model train engines on display. The introductory video was very informative and helped set the stage for the rest of our self guided tour.
