We eagerly anticipated the opening of this new restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Upon arrival, the experience was reminiscent of a bustling In-N-Out drive-through in Las Vegas, with a long line of cars. Fortunately, we found a parking space right in front of the building and headed inside to try the food. Having visited Portland, Maine, multiple times, we are familiar with authentic Maine lobster, and this place nails it. The restaurant was packed with people, and there were no physical customer service representatives to assist with ordering. Instead, there were three computer screens for placing orders. Once submitted, the order goes directly to the kitchen. Given that it was the opening weekend, the wait time for our food was about 30 minutes. Inside seating is limited, with only two tables accommodating more than three people. Most are two-person tables, and although there are many tables outside, the extreme Las Vegas heat makes outdoor dining uncomfortable, especially since there is currently no shade. When our order was ready, staff called out the name we input during ordering. It's worth noting that there are no staff to clean the tables, and a sign requests customers to clean up after themselves to help expedite the food preparation process. We ordered a warm lobster roll, chilled snow crab, chilled lobster, another chilled snow crab, and two hot honey fried lobster rolls. The lobster rolls were spot on, matching the quality of those served in Maine, and the food was phenomenal. We’re thrilled about this new addition and hope that the current high demand will lead to more locations opening in other parts of Las Vegas, particularly in the north or northwest areas. This would help bring more business to the valley, as this location is in the very south of Las Vegas. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning once the initial rush has subsided—though given the deliciousness of the food, that may take a while. Update: came back in Dec 2024 and the food was still amazing. No crazy crowds everywhere and it was very enjoyable.

A very tiny interior has three or four kiosks for you to order, no live person to order. They don't take cash at all, only credit and debit cards. There are only four or five small tables indoors to sit down, a few tables outdoors as well. The food was served fairly quickly. The lobster rolls were very good and packed full of lobster. The fries that came with them were also good. The meals came with a house sauce and some lemon butter packets. The snow crab rolls tasted fresh and juicy. Great soft grilled bread. Perfect meat to bread ratios. We also ordered the fried fish and shrimp, which was pretty good, even though the fish looked a little burnt, it still was tasty. Self-serve soda machine inside. I asked for some tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. They don't have any cocktail sauce, and the tartar sauce cost extra, which I did not know when I paid with my debit card. It would have been nice to know that when I ordered. It also would have been nice to have cocktail sauce available. No straws are provided for the drinks, and they only have one size drink. I think they are just 12 oz cups. At least you can refill them if you dine in. That is, if you are lucky enough to find an open table. Almost no decor inside. Great food!

Man, this place got a ton of hype for a simple lobster roll. But the story in the end is that you get what you pay for. There is a reason most lobster rolls are $15-20 instead of $10, and it's because they have A LOT more lobster meat on them. This one was pretty good for what you pay, and the styling and taste of Maine lobster was spot on. But it doesn't compare to Mason's, or a nice place in New England that is serving them right out of the bay (I am not going to post the pics from those places on this review because that might confuse patrons, but search for pics of them versus here and you'll see what I mean). Also though, those other places are literally double the price of this. The value here is pretty high, and the combo to add fries and a drink is only $2 more. That's really how it should be. If you go inside, you order from a kiosk, and then your food will pop out of the window a few minutes later. We were surprised by how quick it was. There are only a few tables to seat at, and only two of them accommodated more than two seats, so this is definitely more of a take-out place.

Overall: 3.9/5 [dine in]

We came to check out Angie's Lobster the weekend before their grand opening. Since we came close to closing time, there was no line for us. Upon entering the store, there is a menu and ordering kiosks on the right hand side wall. After you order, they will call you to pick up your order at a window. They operate very similarly to a fast food restaurant, but don't offer any utensils, ask you to wipe down your table after you're done using it, and provide all sauces in packages.

The service here is great, and the staff are really nice. When it's closing time, they announce it to the diners letting them know they can take their time eating but asked not to let any new customers in.

Spicy Honey Fried Lobster Tail Sandwich ($9.99): They forgot my sauce so I had to ask for it at the pick up window. You don't really taste the herb mayo & the pickle is lost in this sandwich. The fried lobster tail was crispy and delicious with the spicy honey but there's not a lot of lobster meat. I think they need to add in more stuffing like coleslaw The bun was good, soft, but not buttered to perfection.

Chilled Snow Crab Roll ($7.99): This came with herb mayo & seasoned lemon butter. Similarly to the lobster tail sandwich, I didn't really taste anything inside the sandwich and think they need to add something else. We didn't like the taste of the snow crab and both like the lobster tail one more.

Warm Lobster Roll ($11.99): This is a simple yet satisfying lobster roll, packed with fresh lobster meat. My mom, who is a lobster fanatic, gave her stamp of approval! The butter enhances the flavor, and you don't need much of it. I also pour on some Angie's sauce, but you don't really need it. The roll was properly buttered and toasted this time, which really elevated the experience.

Warm Snow Crab Roll ($8.99): They were even more generous with the snow crab portion than the lobster roll. While this version is tasted better than the chilled snow crab roll, which neither my mom or I enjoyed.

Fried Cod ($3.24 each): The cod was a large piece and tasted great! However, I preferred it the first time I had it when it was more like a square/rectangle shape vs a long strip.

Fried Shrimp ($1.49): Good, but a little too much batter.

Fried Cod ($2.99): Lots of cod and probably the best of all the seafood I tried here. I prefer the square/rectangle version than the long strip.

Angie's Sauce ($0.99): I wish they labeled their sauces since I couldn't tell which was which. Glad we got this extra sauce for the extra side seafood we got.

Angie's Lobster has a lot of potential and just have a few kinks to work out. Despite that, it's definitely a place worth...

It breaks my heart to have to give such a low rating today. In the past my husband and I would give Angie's Lobster a 5 star rating, but today was very different. We have been here many times since they opened and have never been disappointed in the food, service or atmosphere. Unfortunately, today was a very different story. To begin with, it took over 25 minutes for us to get our food. There have been times that we have waited a bit for the order due to the crowd, but today was beyond too long to wait. It wasn't that crowded. As I stood in the lobby waiting for the order (my husband took our drinks to the car to get the AC going as there was no place to sit), I noticed how disheveled the place looked. I get that customers are to clean their own tables, which I think is a great idea for cost cutting, but the things that needed attention were clearly the responsibility of the restaurant. The drink machine was filthy as was the table next to it where people can attend to their drinks. The door that employees use to go back to kitchen was covered in dirty, black marks, and the sign reading "Employees only" was crooked. These things are not the customers responsibility to clean. You would think that at some point during the day a crew member might attend to these areas for presentation as well as health reasons. Once I received our food I was very disappointed by my fried lobster tail sandwich. In the past the roll would have a good sized lobster tail on it, or two small ones. Today I received a very small portion that was hardly half the size of the roll. I paid too much for this lacking sandwich. My husband got the Jonah Crab sandwich which did have a good portion of crab on it, but didn't wow him like the North Atlantic crab sandwich he had in the past. We wonder if the addition of the new Grill menu is taking away from the ability to continue to serve the same great seafood as we have gotten in the past, and in a timely manner. Maybe diversifying the menu is not a good choice. We were so excited when Angie's first opened up, and this has been the first time we have been disappointed. We hope that they can fix whatever has gotten them off track. We will go back in the future to check and see; but not for...

With its innovative and efficient business model, Angie’s Lobster is setting a new standard for fast-food seafood. This establishment redefines our perception of seafood in the fast food industry by offering wild-caught Lobster and other seafood at prices that won't break the bank, comparable to standard chicken or burger meals. This is made possible by their streamlined operations, which involve eliminating third-party vendors and sourcing directly from their Maine-based wharf and processing facility. By doing so, they can pass on the savings directly to the consumer, resulting in a fast and affordable lobster meal, a rarity in today’s dining scene.

Their commitment to efficiency and sustainability is evident from the moment you arrive. The self-pay system, equipped with contactless card readers and no paper receipts, reflects their eco-conscious approach. The streamlined drive-thru also emphasizes efficiency, providing a quick and hassle-free experience. While this operational precision is commendable, some may find it slightly impersonal, especially if they value the human touch in customer service. However, this focus on speed and sustainability is integral to Angie’s unique and intriguing appeal.

Regarding the food, my experience with the lobster roll was enjoyable, although not quite extraordinary. While the Lobster was fresh, I hoped for a larger portion size. Additionally, while the flavors were good, they lacked the wow factor I had anticipated from a lobster-centric restaurant. Nonetheless, the value for money at Angie's Lobster is undeniable, especially compared to other Las Vegas seafood spots, making you feel reassured about your purchase.

Angie’s Lobster is an exciting addition to the fast food landscape, offering a fresh and accessible seafood experience. While my meal did not exceed my expectations, affordability, efficiency, and wild-caught quality make Angie’s a noteworthy option, especially for those seeking something different from the typical fast food offerings like burgers, fried chicken, or pizza. Overall, I would rate my experience as three stars and recommend it to non...
