â 1 Star Date: October 26, 2025 Location: Drive-Thru (Manager: Tonya)
This was one of the worst customer service experiences Iâve had at any Del Taco.
I ordered an egg burrito (no cheese, no sauce), a Del Double Cheeseburgerâsandwich only, not a meal, and two hash browns. We repeated the âno cheese, no sauceâ part multiple times because Tonya, the manager, kept asking again as if she wasnât listening. Her tone was rude and impatient throughout the interaction.
When we got the food, the burrito had cheese, wasnât wrapped properly, and even had random vegetables that didnât belong. I went inside to fix it and was told, âI didnât hear you,â even though we clearly repeated the order several times.
Then when I got home, I realized my Del Double Cheeseburger wasnât even a Del Double Cheeseburger â it was just a plain cheeseburger with no lettuce or vegetables. If I specifically asked for a Del Double Cheeseburger (sandwich only, not a meal), how is it appropriate to completely change my order to something I didnât ask for?
When I called to resolve the issue, Tonya talked over me, tried to shift the blame, and made me feel like I was the problem. I eventually had to hang up.
As a disabled veteran, I expected a little patience and respect â not an argument and a wrong order. This was supposed to be a simple breakfast, not a confrontation.
Completely disappointed. The food was wrong, the service was rude, and the attitude was unacceptable, also the food...
Read moreI walked into this location and was met with the smell of sewage rather than food. Normally I'd turn around right then and there, but I was picking up food for other people too. After waiting six minutes in front of the register while multiple employees walked past me, someone finally decided to take my order. It was a very simple order too, just two burgers and two spicy chicken burritos.
I waited for 25 minutes and both orders were wrong. The burgers were smothered in mayo even though I asked for none, and the chicken burritos had no chicken or cheese, even though they're supposed to come with both.
During this, another guy came in to pick up an order and they didn't have a milkshake for him, and the employee said there was no way to refund him or substitute the $5 milkshake for anything of equal value and seemed quite rude about it.
The food here was expensive too, almost five bucks for a single burrito with rice and beans. Just go to the Taco Bell across the street, the food there is cheaper, better, and the service...
Read moreGot the chips and queso around 9pm. Brought it home and my friend said it looked like seafood chowder. I said, "it's just queso." I offered him some for his burrito and he wisely said no. I ate a few bites and thought, "wow this doesn't taste like it normally does." So I unwisely ate a few more bites. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. I started thinking that it tasted like vinegar so I finally stopped eating. Not soon enough! 4 days later, I am still sick. After thought was that it tasted like milk that had turned. They must have left it out way too long. Beware what else they have left out. it ruined my husbands birthday and our friends were in town and I couldn't function, eat or do anything that wasn't within 10 feet of a bathroom. The funny/notsofunny part was that my husband refused to eat there because he said everything from Del Taco goes in then comes right out. Foreshadowing at its best. I normally have an iron gut that can eat anything. Del Taco on Blue Diamond took me down...
