Alright, amigos! If you find yourself hungry and cruising down Blue Diamond in Sin City, prepare to dive into a flavorful fiesta at Fuego Mexican Kitchen. Here’s my spicy lowdown:
🍽️ Al Pastor Plate: As the name suggests, this dish was pastor-approved (I mean, I assume if pastors had a certification for Mexican dishes, this would pass!). Smoky, rich, and essentially a culinary version of a warm hug. 👌
🍚 Beans & Rice: A real Mexican restaurant aficionado knows that the key is in the basics. And lemme tell ya, Fuego nailed it! The beans whispered sweet tales of the freshest of farms, and the rice? Oh-so-fluffy, like it had been practicing yoga during its downtime.
🍤 Spicy Shrimp Ceviche: Now here’s a mystery that even Sherlock would struggle with. “The Curious Case of the Disappearing Shrimp”. My partner's bowl seemed to play a cute game of hide-n-seek with the shrimp. Great for suspense, not so great for a hungry belly. Maybe the shrimp were just too spicy and evaporated? 🤷♂️
🥙 Sope: Fresh and tasty, these little numbers made us go “Ay Caramba” in the best way possible.
🌶️ Ambiance: Think of your grandma’s living room, but if she was a cool Mexican abuela. A bit on the warm side, with a touch of vintage vibes. Maybe the warmth was just the Fuego (fire) in the kitchen? 🔥
📜 Menu: Simple, straight to the point. No fluff, just like my abuelita’s tales.
🤝 Service: Exactly what you’d expect from a cozy Mexican joint. No mariachi band bursting out from the kitchen, but hey, we came for the food.
In conclusion, if you're after a genuine taste of Mexico with a side of quirks and a dash of humor, Fuego Mexican Kitchen might just be your next pit stop. Just maybe count your shrimps before they......

The employees were respectful and friendly, seeming genuinely inviting and kind. Upon ordering, my boyfriend noticed the stuffed churros (filled with cheesecake and covered with churro's signature cinnamon sugar, it also comes drizzled in chocolate sauce topped with whipped cream and sprinkles), and when we placed our order, since we were dining in, the cashier offered to put a hold on the dessert until we finished our dinner so the churros would be hot and fresh. When leaving, I surprised my boyfriend with an order of those delicious churros to go and the employee not only put the whipped cream in a separate container (I had asked for no cream so it wouldn't melt and get the churros soggy), he didn't hesitate to give us a second container as a pup-cup for free for our babies at home. On top of stellar service, their food was delicious and we'll be going again very soon! Highly...

Mmmm my favorite carne asada burrito in town!! The balance of the ingredients is what really makes it for me, plus the carne asada tastes so good, i think it’s really grilled. I eat my burrito with their red and green salsas, they are nice to mix. We have also enjoyed the rolled tacos, chile relleno, and enchiladas with beef and with cheese. The sauce for the enchiladas is a dark red, it’s really good and the cheese they use tastes so good too. We have also had the ceviche and fish tacos (my fave was the fish taco). Everything holds up well for take out, although the interior of the restaurant is...
