New Panda — Restaurant in Ephrata

Absolutely the worst. Took me 10 minutes to communicate the delivery address but it took them less than 2 minutes to charge my card for food that was delivered 70 minutes later cold and dry and missing items. Every time i called to see how much longer i was told on the way and hung up on. I called for missing items and was told i would get store credit. Hell no! I want my food no matter how bad it is. I will feed it to my dog before i would ever use store credit. I will NEVER order there again. I was told it will take another hour to get missing order items. I wish i could give no stars. Rude and i was overcharged for a tiny bit of food. Take my advise and stay far away from this mess. I should have checked health department inspections first because apparently they don’t score too well. Horrible horrible food and the worst customer service ever!!! Well it’s now almost 9pm. Placed original order at 5:23. Still don’t have the missing food items. Utter disregard for customer satisfaction. I will be sure to tell every single person i know to NEVER order from here. It’s bedtime now. I had to heat leftovers for the kids to eat and tomorrow i will be disputing what they charged to my credit card. update 3 days later-I went in to get refund. The woman grabbed my card and swiped it and handed me a slip that said credit refund. I kept checking my account. The credit never apeared. I called my credit card company and they said it was vioded by New Panda as soon as I left. These people are criminals. My credit card company filed a complaint and I have a case open to fight for a refund. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! Rude, disgusting and criminals. I also filed a complanit with health department as there were many violations that I could see when I went in including visible debri, open screen door, flies and cooks without hair nets. Gross place. They are familar with Health Depatment violations as there have been many in the past. I hope they close the place...

Ordered via DoorDash. My order consisted of Honey Chicken with a side of Lobster fried rice. My order was delivered well within the time frame given in the app. The food was well packaged- the saucy Honey Chicken was placed in a good quality plastic, rectangular take-out container(reusable-bonus!)& the side of Lobster Fried Rice was packaged in the typical little pint-sized Asian take-out box. Both arrived nice & hot. They included several packets of soy sauce, duck sauce, fortune cookies, & a plastic fork,although I didn't request them. A nice touch. The Honey Chicken was absolutely delicious! The coating on the chicken was nice & crunchy even though it was swimming in a very generous amount of sauce. The sauce was perfect-very sweet( the way I like it,) with just the right amount of tanginess. The Lobster Fried Rice was AMAZING! The rice itself was fresh & fluffy, the veggies ( peas, carrots, & onion,) were cooked to perfection, and THE LOBSTER! They were generous with the amount, & it was very nicely cooked-not at all rubbery! The appearance & aroma were quite appetizing but the taste was outstanding. I do my homework prior to ordering from a takeout place that I haven't tried before & after reading all of them, I must say I was cautiously hopeful. My first time ordering here brought me old sushi that had some sort of animal hair on it but I gave it a second chance because stuff just happens sometimes.

Our food was little more than ok, and I'm not sure I got what I ordered. We placed an order online and arrived 5 minutes before the email said it would be finished. We only live half a mile away and drove straight home, but even in the three minutes that lapsed, everything was lukewarm and the fried items (egg rolls, rangoon) were tough and had clearly been sitting for awhile before we arrived.

I ordered shrimp and mushrooms and I'm not sure if that's what I got or if I got shrimp and vegetables instead? Either way both our meals tasted a little burned although they were not. Maybe the bottom pan scalded or hadn't been swapped for a fresh one often enough.

I won't give a third try, it's worth the drive into Lancaster if you want chinese. There was stuff piled everywhere in the dining room and the place was almost as cold as it was outside.
