My wife and I took a day trip up to Erie to try somewhere we have both been wanting to get to, Bro Man’s! There’s two locations and the original is in a gas station. We originally went to that one, however we had a pretty bad experience with the service there to the point we turned around and left and didn’t order. The person working the register was clearly having a very bad day and was outwardly expressing it towards us and the surrounding people, while I get it, they really needed to either take a break or not be on register at that point. Hopefully whatever was going on, their day got better, as it must have been significant. We decided we weren’t going to give up and since we knew there were two locations we decided to move to the other location. We are incredibly glad we decided to give it another shot. We got the OG Reggie burger which is just onions, pickles, and American cheese. The smash burger is a true real smash burger, super crispy lacy edges, the bun was soft, pickles were crunchy, and onion was diced nicely. One of the better burgers I’ve had in western PA for sure. I also got the cooper steak, ribeye steak with cooper sharp cheese and onions on a fresh Liscio’s roll. The roll was super soft and fresh, it held together amazingly well. There was a LOT of cheese on this sucker and the ribeye was really high quality. This sits firmly as my number 2 cheesesteak in the entire western half of PA, beaten only by common oven. I prefer the toasted seeded rolls of common oven and some of the other true steak shops in Philly. It was still incredibly good. Lastly we tried the birria tacos. I would say these are solid, they’re not bad, had a nice crunch, they were stuffed full of meat and cheese. The consume was really great as well. Overall this place is definitely worth a drive or a visit if you’re in the area or want to take a day trip to the great north of PA.

Bro Man's Burgers and Tacos exemplifies how quality food and genuine passion can elevate a business from a humble food truck to a full-scale restaurant. The new location at 26th and State Street boasts a charming design and a tastefully decorated interior that complements the great food. During my visit, I tried the Big Bro Burger and beef tacos. The burger was enormous, topped with pastrami, and featured a good-sized patty. However, I felt it could benefit from some slaw to balance the greasiness and enhance the overall flavor. Additionally, a bun with more crust would be ideal, as the current one tends to soak up too much grease. The birria-style tacos were a unique and delightful experience. The owner explained that they achieve the perfect texture by grilling the soft tacos until they become crispy, creating a delightful middle ground between hard and soft tacos. I genuinely loved this approach. The homemade fries were fresh and delicious, a perfect accompaniment to the meal. Once they have their beer lines set up, Bro Man's will be an even better spot to enjoy a cold beer alongside their great burgers. Overall, it's a fantastic place with great service and food. While a few tweaks could improve the experience, such as reducing the greasiness, these are personal preferences. Thank you to Bro Man's for the hospitality and a memorable lunch!

Can’t believe I’m giving 5 stars to a non-Steeler NFL themed restaurant in western PA but this spot deserves it. Absolutely insane burger that I’m going to be thinking about for a long time. Prices are what they are but very much worth it. Maxx Crosby has to try the burger in his namesake if he hasn’t yet. The vibes of this place were sick plus their sauces and fries were excellent as well. Easily a top joint in Erie. Will be back here very soon. Bummer they close so early wish they were open later.

So tonight was my first night here. I found it randomly looking for a new place to eat . It’s a cute little place . There are sports on which I love and the decor is fun but the parking is not ideal . But first off the burger was fantastic. I cant always finish a bigger burger but I finished this one . It was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time and it really saved the entire experience for me . Second the fries were just ok, expensive and you don’t get that many . I am not the biggest fan of these kinds of fries but they were decent enough and if you like these kinds of fries you will enjoy them . Third the pop tasted like actual pop which is nice. too many places their pop tastes so watered down . Where there was a big problem though was the cashier . I ordered a kids combo and two adult combos . When the food arrived there were no fries. So I went up and asked about it . The receipt says adult combos . She said the combo was just for the burger and drink for us adults . What ? The kids combo came with the sandwich , fries and a drink so why wouldnt the adult meals ? I think everyone knows since the dawn of burger joints that combo means burger fries and drink. She admitted this wasn’t the first time she failed to recognize this and confirm which combo we were looking for . The meals are not cheap .I had already paid $30 and now I had to pay even more for what I thought was included . It would have been a nice gesture to just give us an order of fries since this was a mistake on her end. If she knows this is a common misunderstanding then she needs to get in the habit of checking with customers what they actually want . Write a note if she can’t remember and stick it somewhere but please don’t do that to customers especially first timers. Overall we left full of good food and at the end of the day I guess that is all you really hope for when you...
