This place used to be the best bagel place in town with top notch everything, sandwiches pastries etc. Nows its far from and standards are low. The bagels don’t even look the same. Bought one bagel with cream cheese, and when I unwrap the foil the cream cheese was so skimpy it already melted. I should’ve took a photo at that moment, but suffered through it, but when I asked for a side of cream cheese, they charge me $1.50 for a small cup of cream cheese that i shouldnt have needed. Additionally i always get a club sandwich add egg and it’s a huge sandwich this one was light also. Got to Cherry turn overs and they taste and felt like they should’ve been turned over to the trash can and not sold they were old and stale. It’s sad the old owner passed she’d be disappointed

Ever in a pinch for breakfast and looking for a local breakfast staple with the BEST bagels in western PA? Look no further - at Jo’s, you can get a fresh bagel loaded with your favorite breakfast foods, or take home a baker’s dozen for your family’s weekly breakfast menu. They have a magnificent selection of baked-fresh-daily bagels that will have your mouth watering any time you think of it. We came for breakfast, and left with enough bagels for a week! These best your Thomas store-bought baked goods any day of the week.

Don't judge a bagel shop by its plaza... this place serves amazing, fresh bagels with a great selection of toppings and at INCREDIBLE prices (by my Canadian standards) Bagels were fresh and tasty, there was an excellent selection of flavours. we didn't try any of the donuts or desserts but they looked amazing. The Staff was extremely down to earth and friendly.

I don’t get the hype! Their bagels are ok and the service is terrible! I was reluctant to even review. I had a past experience and was really put off because #1, the service. The lady was VERY RUDE. I was gonna review them but gave the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was having a “bad day”. Well my hubby had called today to order and of course was met with rudeness and he told her to forget it. So here I am, pushed over the edge and writing a review. Starting with my first experience: Upon entry to the store for my “to go order”, my friend and I walked in and greeted her happily and she was just a grump from the get go. Not even a “how can I help you” but more of “what do you want”. I ordered a ham, egg and cheese bagel. She pulled the stuff out of the fridge and tossed it in the microwave. I don’t know why I expected the ingredients to be fresh, but I did. The ingredients seemed rubbery to me but the sesame bagel wasn’t bad. . I ordered a dozen more bagels of different varieties to take home to my family. She seemed really “put out” that we were even there bothering her. She never attempted to make conversation or niceties even though we tried to communicate with her. I get that we were all wearing masks but my friend and I didn’t find it hard to communicate. She definitely wasn’t happy when my friend wanted a separate bag for her bagel. So, even though she hardly spoke to us, except for what was necessary, she made sure to let me know that I could add the tip on while I was checking out. Talk about pressure. I didn’t want to give her anything but I felt obligated at that point.

The bagels: One bagel in particular was a jalapeño bagel and my hubby said it was gross (his words) but whatever, moving on. The rest of the bagels were hit and miss, as far as texture, taste, etc. The comments from all who ate, were that they liked the variety but that the quality wasn’t much different than prepackaged.

So there it is: not the popular opinion here. Also, I’m not a “hater” or anything. I have other reviews and I feel...

A friend took me into one of these hole-in-the-wall places and said this hear holds one of the greatest treasures of Erie. I was very doubtful. But little did I know they were not lying.

The food is amazing the Bakery / Eatery smell out of that sent the only a place that has freshly baked goods and smell like. But I didn't stop there the everything cream cheese is amazing. So you walk up to the rack and there's all these different types of bagels and they're all freshly baked and they all smell amazing and just like you choose your donut. You choose your bagel you can actually pick the exact Bagel that you want I chose a breakfast bagel bacon and cheese that was just the bagel flavor. And I figured it would be like an artificially flavored like bacon and cheese but it wasn't you could taste the bacon and cheese it was awesome. Hello On it was bacon cheese tomatoes lettuce and everything that's the name of the cream cheese everything it is amazing. When I first walked in I thought can the food really be this good I was so wrong I am now a huge fan of this...

Absolutely wild to me that this place has the audacity to call itself “Brooklyn bagel”. These bagels are worse than a week old grocery bagel. They’re soft and doughy and are more akin to Wonder bread than any bagel from NY that I’ve ever seen. They don’t even compare to the bagels of East PA or NJ. It is so far removed from any good bagel that I wouldn’t even call these bagels. The bagel sandwiches are constructed with microwaved liquid egg that’s pre cooked and kept in Tupperware until it’s ready to be heated up for a sandwich. Lazy and disgusting. Being from the east coast I had faith that a place that references NY and had high ratings would have a decent bagel but you’re way better off going to some shit diner where they at least have the decency and work ethic to crack open an egg and fry it. Don’t...
