Philly on the Rocks — Restaurant in Erie

I love everything about this place! The staff is amazing. Everyone is really nice, and service is always prompt and friendly. I've had a number of menu items as i have been to this establishment quite a few times, and the food has been perfect every time. Zero complaints there. Another really cool thing is they have artwork of various types on the walls, that are local artist originals that are for sale. I think that's really cool. Great live music! Sooo cool. The place just has a great vibe. I really do believe in this business, and what they're doing there. Something going on every day. Im from Pittsburgh pa i was in Erie for a few moments and everyone else was busy. So i saw the google ratings I said ill go it a shot. I walk into a dark bar no one in there except a female playing a machine. Im like oh shit did i make a mistake? Then I believe it was owner he had pajama bottoms on. Stopped in here one afternoon recently when visiting Erie and loved it. It's a dive bar in the very best sense. One review called it "rough around the edges" and I agree. But again, in the best way. Everyone - clientele, the owner, and bartender - were so nice. We were taking turns buying rounds with the locals. The food is outstanding and clearly made with care. The owner brings Amoroso rolls, he clearly knows what he's doing.
