We decided to hit them up for the first time during a happy hour to get a feel for the type of regulars, service, atmosphere, and beer variety. $2 off happy hour 4pm-6pm on a Tuesday. This place is so comfortable and chill! Nice location with off-street parking in a cool older building they renovated, but kept old touches like the woodwork and fireplace mantle. Very well decorated with awesome art, perfect layout, well designed customer flow, great music at a comfortable talking volume, plenty of seating options(cozy nook with sofa, tables with chairs, and bar seating),and a little merch shop. Very clean well stocked bathroom for customers only. Friendly staff that let you sample beers before buying. We liked everything we tried and bought. They keep it very clean. A blonde lady even dusted the fireplace and a table near where we were seated. You can tell most customers were regulars so staff were a lot more talkative and spent way more time engaging with them. We were understanding of that because regulars are your bread and butter and you know about what they're going to tip, we were wild card new faces. No one was unwelcoming or anything, we were very happy with our service and experience. We can't wait to come back to try food and more beers next time! We highly...
Read moreMy hubby and I checked this place out because friends of ours said the food was “so good”. We agree that quality drink needs to be met with quality food. Unfortunately, we were vastly disappointed. We sampled a few drinks that were pretty good and ordered food because we were starving. We usually order 2 things and split them so we got the Nachos(I think they were $8-$10 so figured that would be a big portion) and the shrimp tacos. It took a long time to get our food but when we did the nachos were in a small paper basket lined with foil and featuring those circle tortilla chips you buy in bulk that I remember from our school cafeteria. It was warm at best. Then our tacos were, I kid you not, cold. Like. COLD. I’m sure that’s what they were going for but there were only 2 and they had maybe 1/4-1/3 cup of food each in the tortillas. Very little flavor other than some spice. We were still hungry so we left and went to The Brewerie at Union Station. What a let down. I’d totally recommend their drinks if that’s what you’re after but by no means should you go there for an...
Read morelet me begin this review by saying that my Boyfriend and I are huge fans of Lavery Erie, and I especially enjoy the beer and the environment in their Erie location. So it was with this very positive mindset that we set out to visit Lavery's newest location in titusville after a 2 hour bike run at Drake's Well. we were thirsty and hungry so all we wanted was the usual great fare that Lavery's is known for. The beer was excellent. The menu, very impressive. However, had we been asked about our meal we would have to have reported some negative feed back to the chef, or maybe our server. We ordered the eggplant pizza, the Italian pappardelle and an arugula salad to share and here are our unfortunate results; the pizza was vastly overcooked ( think burnt) the salad arrived without dressing and the pappardelle was served with something undefinable in it as it too, was scorched. i believe that each dish we experienced truly had the potential to be enjoyed, however, it does not seem that anyone is tending to the gate out of the kitchen. please let me know...
