Not sure what's going on at the LZD in Erie but ever since the LZD opened on 120th the Erie location has been spiraling downhill fast. We live directly across the street so it makes it nice to walk there, have some drinks, and not worry about driving. What we have seen is the service staff change for the worst - so service is horrible now. All the better servers have left, and I wonder why? Bad management? Bad ownership? The food quality, compared to 102th, has suffered greatly. We ordered two nacho plates last week and they were pathetic - over cooked and just horrible. Actually I got sick the next morning ... not sure if it was the nachos or not, but that was the only thing I ate. Lastly I've seen the bartenders be very rude to customers in public. That's NOT a bartenders job, hand that off to management if your having a problem. And if you sit on the far-left side of the bar (by the golf game) you'll never get service at all. It's like no one feels like they need to work hard for your business they feel "entitled" just because they are the only game around. If they don't make some major changes I hope people move one to better places. Yes it's convenient for the folks across the street but it's just a matter of time before people get fed up and stop going there, and then you'll just get another Benchwarmers situation. Here's my message to the owners, "just because you are on a golf course AND you're pretty much the only place in the immediate area doesn't mean your ENTITLED to our business! You still have to work for it! So get it together so we have a nice place to walk to on Friday's with good service and good food!" Currently, we are going to the LZD on 120th until the owners get the Erie...
Read moreI recently visited Lazy Dog Sports Bar and Grill, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfying. The service was a major letdown, with our waitress being not only slow but also quite rude. This negatively impacted our overall dining experience. Speaking of the food, it was mediocre at best. None of the dishes we ordered stood out in terms of flavor or presentation, which was disappointing considering the variety on their menu.
Additionally, the physical condition of the establishment raised concerns. The booth we were seated in had a significant hole, indicative of broader issues of neglect and disrepair throughout the venue. It's evident that the place is not being maintained as it once was.
Having frequented Lazy Dog in the past, I couldn't help but notice a stark decline in the quality and atmosphere that used to make it a great spot. It's disheartening to see such a downturn. Based on this visit, I am compelled to say that Lazy Dog Sports Bar and Grill has unfortunately lost its...
Read moreWould not recommend to my enemies! Walked in and it took 10 minutes to be seated, because there was no hostess. After seated sever took a while to get to table and was obviously rushed by wanting to go home. The 4x she came to the table she seemed annoyed and unhappy we wanted to enjoy our beers. I would have loved to drink more but she wasn't around. She spent most of her night rolling silverware and doing her sidework. It took us 20 minutes to order and I had to let the other server know we were ready to order. Again because ours was nowhere to be found. We ordered the pork chili cheese nachos as an app and it never came to the table. Then dinner, the wings were not tossed in sauce at all. The cheeseburger was ordered medium but cooked like a hockey puck. The lettuce was wilted and warm because our plates were hotter than the food. Must have been under that warmer for 10 minutes. I will never be back to try a 2nd time. Nor will I recommend to friends. Waste of...
