Foo Yung Express — Restaurant in Erie

I don't really like leaving negative reviews but honestly felt I had to on this one. My Wife and I tried this place out for something different. I got sesame shrimp and the sauce was more of a water than anything. The breading or whatever they use was extremely thick on the shrimp and it made everything horribly soggy. My wife had a hard time with her Orange chicken and said it was very chewy. We have a dollar a scoop Chinese store near us and we wish we would have went there. Also the order was wrong on what we got for our kids and no fried rice that we asked for. For the price we payed it should not be comparable much less worse than the dollar a scoop. Very...

Unfortunately, the food wasn't very good. We got hot and sour soup, which was ok, not great. We also got the fried Pot stickers and combination Lo Mein. Both of these were extremely bland. The dipping sauce for the pot stickers had almost no flavor, even after adding soy sauce and the dumplings themselves were very bland. The Lo Mein was also lacking flavor and it was mushy, both the noodles and the meat were mushy. All in all, a disappointing meal and we wont order again. We tried Foo Yung Express just because it happened to be nearby, and it was a pleasant surprise. Delivery food that I would be delighted to have received at a sit-down service restaurant. I've tried over a dozen of their main menu items now and really the only thing that hasn't been amazing is the soup, which I can almost entirely chalk up to simply being somewhat pesky to deliver at the right temperature.
