Sakura Sushi Express — Restaurant in Erie

I wanted to give this restaurant a boost in its ratings. I don't understand why they don't have a higher one.

I popped in here on a whim to pick up some dinner after the gym. It was my first time. I was greeted upon walking in. I grabbed a menu and began studying. Their prices are really great. I ordered one of their premium rolls and a second maki roll.

I walked up to the register where a young man took my order. He then said it wold be 20 to 25 minutes (That's not express!). But the woman making the sushi next to him interrupted and said she'd try to get it to me in 15. Ok, great!

I sat down and began playing with my phone (because what else am I gonna do while I wait?). Several people walked in to pick up take out orders, so I assume that is the majority of their business. They only have about four tables inside. Although you certainly CAN sit and eat, it's not really a sit down restaurant, per se. It's quite simple in decor.

While I didn't officially time it, I'd say I got my order in 10 minutes. Five stars for fast service! I took my order and went home. When I unpacked the sushi, it looked pretty darned good. It was presented nice, and they provided everything I needed like chopsticks, soy sauce (I would have preferred lite soy), wasabi, and ginger. The sushi itself was....tasty and fresh!

Keep this place in business. They are EXCELLENT. You know how our economy has impacted restaurants? That means you need to come to Sakura Sushi Express and try just one thing. After that, you'll go to this restaurant again and again. Why would people buy sushi at a grocery store when you can get AWESOME delicious sushi prepared by a staff that only wants to make your taste buds explode with happiness. Really now. I've had my comments seen by thousands and thousands, I know what I'm talking about. Sakura reminds me of when I lived in Hawaii. If you've never tried sushi before, THIS IS THE PLACE to see what people are talking about. See what you've been missing. Get a taste and close your eyes, imagine you're in Hawaii, or Japan, or Korea. You'll want more and more. On a scale of 1-5 stars, this place is a 10. I've seen a few "negative people" complaining about whether or not the tuna or salmon is fresh. FYI we live in (the middle of the United States) Colorado where Cherry Creek Reservoir doesn't have much in regards to providing...

I come to restaurants to eat food, (someone mentioned in review that people who work there not very talkative) Environment is very friendly, nice music not too loud and not annoying. This is not huge, quite and nice place. With good prices and very very tasty rolls. They have different varieties, they have awesome baked rolls, rolls with tempura shrimps and crab meat, and just as other places spicy tuna salmon etc. Appetizers and salad as well. We had good list to pick from,and my family loved what we've picked. They cooked our 5 rolls in less than 10 minutes, comparing to other places it's usually longer. And there were people in front of us and after we came. It's a very good sushi place. They had enough seats for our family and there was a good choice of drinks (they had those we like the most). We definitely will come again, it's going to become our family favorite place.
