Teresa's used to impress me years ago, not sure what happened, but I'm no longer impressed. Apparent others aren't either since they have a hand written sign hanging up telling people how much of the food must be returned if they're going to ask for their money back!
We've ordered a few times within the last few months, thinking the poor quality was just a mistake, or maybe they had someone new behind the counter.
Our last visit was on Superbowl Sunday. We picked up a medium combo sub & ended up with a few shreds of lettuce, 3 thin slices of a small tomato that didn't cover the whole sub, 3 slices each of ham, Capicola, & very thin (& small) salami that, like the tomato, didn't even cover the entire sub.
I would really rather pay more for a decent sub instead of being disappointed & having to go thru my fridge at game time searching for meats & cheeses to put on to bulk it up.
They do have the best pricing & their homemade rolls are really, really good!
I think from now on tho, we'll just pick up their sub rolls & put our own subs...
Read moreYears ago this was the place! I am not sure how anyone has missed this in a review but that place inside is DISGUSTING! The shelf in front of the counter is deplorable. Dusty, full of hair and other nasty things. I was standing there waiting for them to make my food trying not to think about how nasty it was inside and the fact that they were making food here. Staff was walking around chewing food and eating, talking about tons of personal stuff at the counter. No motivation to really move quickly or get any thing done, mind you with a line of people at the counter. I am incredibly disappointed by the lack of flavor or toppings on my sub. The lettuce was gross it was brown I had to take it off. No baked goods or anything really available at the time I was there. Read moreThe staff doesn't seem interested in serving customers. They refused to answer the phone. They say that they would rather get their closing work done rather than answer the phone and take more orders - more than half an hour before the store closing time. They are out of almost everything the store claims to sell.
The owner must not know how the staff is treating their customers because he wouldn't put up with it.
Edit on 9/28/23: I returned to Teresa's tonight and what a huge positive difference! There was only one staff member on duty, but he served me faster and better than the two last year and with a good attitude! Way to go Teresa's! The store was almost fully stocked, even though the store was scheduled to close soon! It's the good old days again! I'm changing my 2 star rating to a 5...
