Went through the drive thru to order dinner for my family. When I got home, I was missing a main item, the fiery chicken sandwich. I called right away and the person I spoke to told me to come back right away to collect the rest of my order that I was missing. I told her that I wasn't going to make another trip back after already being home and prepared to eat dinner with my family. So she told me she'd take my information down and that I could come back at any time to pick my order which I had already paid for but they've neglected to provide it to me. A couple months later, I was hungry and passing by after running errands. I decided to stop by to collect what was owed. I went through the drive thru and had explained that I had a missing fiery chicken sandwich, they'd taken my info which I gave to receive my replacement. After sitting there for awhile, they told me to park and come inside. I agreed since I did not have my children (or dog) with me. After going inside, the ladies that were orginally helping did not acknowledge me. I had waited till the person working the front counter finished taking an order from a customer, to help me. I had told him that I was instructed to park after being in the drive thru and to come inside by the ladies working the drive thru. He had to take two steps over to get their attention. Then one of the ladies came to me and had explained that they spoke to their manager and assistant manager, both did not recognize my information or replacement order. Therefore, they stated that they would not comp me my meal (which again, I've already paid for and did not receive) and could only offer me a 20% discount off an order that I wished to purchase at that moment. I was highly upset, but did not want to waste my time. I told her "no thank you" and left. Typically I never have an issue going there, but I was not happy or nearly satisfied on how they handled my situation. When this issur first occured, I had given my son my order and did not eat dinner. Then yesterday, again, I did not get dinner...
Read moreI placed an online order. I drove up to drive thru to pick it up (I am able to this at the other location). The person running the drive thru asked how I was, and after I responded I didn't get any further acknowledgment. I waited for about 5 minutes. She still hadn't acknowledged me, so I drove up to the window. She saw me, made eye contact, and then proceeded to walk away. Mind you they weren't busy. There were 2 customers in the establishment. I waited an additional 5 minutes until she finally came to the window. Immediately defensively she asked "did you order at the speak"? I responded no I placed an online order. She responded by saying "you have to come inside for that." I responded with it would have been nice if you actually acknowledged me at the speaker and informed me instead of wasting my time. Nowhere on the website or the pick up info does it state you have to go inside for online orders. When I got home my food was like/ cold and to top it off I was missing items. I paid well over $70 dollars to be missing items, my food was cold, my drinks were warm and watery because the ice was almost completely melted, the avocado in my burger was browning, there was an excessive amount of mayo in the chicken sandwich to the point it ended up all over the place , and some stringy bits in the chicken. I called to inform them I was missing items, the person on the phone didn't give their name and said they could either take my name down or I had to call customer service. There was no apology/accountability for not giving me my food I paid for. I am highly disappointed with my food today. This location needs to work on their customer service. I won't ever return to...
Read moreFood was ok service was alright nothing special about this place really except for the manager checking out teenage girls and talking trash about the cacasian and other customers to the other employees who they think and assume don't understand or speak Spanish. Like my husband whom is Hispanic but looks very white and over heard them talking about us and and another family's teenage daughter who was probably 16 /17. They quickly changed their tune when he returned to the counter after we ordered and spoke to them in Spanish making sure that they had our order correct and they made sure to get it correct because of food allergies. The employees looked surprised and reread back the order to him in English and he responded to that conversation in Spanish again making sure that they knew that he had heard and understood everything that they were saying about his family and the other patrons in the restaurant. Not a good experience but not uncommon for a farmer boys restaurant while they do have fresh food that is locally sourced they tend to only hire people who are Hispanic and or employees who speak and understand Spanish. I like the food and the ideas they claim to stand by but every farmer boys restaurant ive been to here in San Diego county and in San Bernardino county does this they may be individually owned and operated but they all hire illegal workers I know this 1st hand from extended family that were employed by them that were illegal at 1 point in time and they all have stated that they do not like to hire people who don't speak or understand Spanish. A lot of the people working get paid under the table and poorly...
