Oh my goodness, I am absolutely thrilled to write a review for Rich Lai at Tea Monks! This experience was truly one of the best I've had in a long time and I couldn't be happier to sing Rich's praises. From the moment I walked in, Rich greeted me with the most genuine and warm smile. His attention to detail and customer service was impeccable – he was knowledgeable about all of the teas and boba options on the menu and helped me choose the absolute perfect drink for me.

But the real star of the show was the boba itself – it was hands down the most delicious boba I have ever tasted! The tea was perfectly brewed and the boba had the perfect amount of chewiness. Not to mention, the presentation of the drink was so beautiful – it was clear that a lot of care and attention went into making it.

I recently completed a grueling hike that left me feeling exhausted and in need of some serious hydration. I was so thankful to come across Tea Monks, where I was able to indulge in the best boba and slushie I have ever had. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the boba was cooked to perfection, providing the perfect pick-me-up after a long and difficult hike.

But the standout of my visit was the excellent service provided by server Rich. He was attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my experience was top-notch, even offering me a free lollipop. His kindness and professionalism really made a difference after the exhausting hike I had just completed.

Tea monks is where it’s at. This boba spot offers many options for your bubble tea hydration needs. I usually hang out for my boba teas in central San Diego, I was happy to find this spot when I went shopping at the North County Mall.

I was pleasantly surprised to see different flavors I’ve never heard of before so my friend I tried some of them. We tried the Mango Lychee Milk Tea and the Green Thai Tea!

Both of them were absolutely delish. However, I tried my lychee milk tea with the balls and didn’t really like them as I thought I would. Boba balls are always best when ordering bubble tea!
