Sukho Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Essex

My Husband and I love this restaurant. It is our "Go-To" for Thai food. However, we recently had a discouraging encounter. We recommended this restaurant to our Family, who then placed a large order for take-out. When we got our order home, we realized we have two incorrect dinners. When we called the restaurant to see if we could get only 'one' replaced with the correct dinner, they told us "No". The gentleman on the phone insisted that we had ordered the dinner we got, and wouldn't let us bring it back for the one we had wanted. My Husband is allergic to the one we got, so we weren't able to eat it, and the meal ended up a wasted $10. We weren't offered a refund or even allowed to bring it back for the correct one; poor service on their part. The restaurant lost two very loyal customers due to their lack of good customer service. The last time we went to Sukho Thai, we ordered the Sukho Thai Fried rice hoping that it would be a little less hot compared to the other versions that they serve here.However much to our dismay the server brought us a totally burnt dish , on which you could smell the burnt rice from at least a feet away from your nose. The minute we complained they bought us a replacement, believe it or not it was the same burnt rice again served. We did not touch that rice as you could obviously tell from the way it smelled that the second serving was burnt too. However the server still refused to admit that it was burnt. Nevertheless, they still charged us for the burnt dish though we were not able to take a single bite. I’d like my meal very much I ordered the ginger sauté with tofu was excellent my friend ordered the sweet-and-sour chicken but her wasn’t quite as happy with it compared to other Thai restaurants however. they had given him the wrong order originally And had to take it back the other problem was we ordered hot Thai tea and they took the ice hot Thai tea Ice sweet Thai tea cream was heated it up and that’s not wanted. . we sent it back And ordered hot green tea but what was delivered was hot black Lipton tea so that was disappointing.
