2024 update: great fish fry on Fridays during Lent. Terrific service from local folks who know the deal. They'll remember you, too, and keep a tab going so you can enjoy your friends and family while having a relaxing time near home. Fun nights here, eating wings and sharing stories with friends. Lots of fried comfort food. Always a friendly face behind the bar.

Been driving by this place for a bit now and decided to stop in for some food and a beer. Service was friendly, food was hot and tasty. Decent draft selection, also had some good bottles. The bottle prices were pretty great, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale's for $3.75. The food is reasonably priced. Nice clean bar with good food and beer.

Nice place for a quick bite to eat. The establishment was clean. Staff were friendly, warm, and welcoming. Prices are reasonable for the food. Food was delicious! Our server made sure she checked on us multiple times throughout the meal. We never needed for anything. I will definitely be a returning customer!

Giving an extra star only because my parents like their fish sandwiches. However, their service is terrible. My Dad arrived first and ordered a beer from the bartender. She apparently didn’t ask him to pay or start a tab, which seems weird to me for a bar area. I guess they put the drinks on the table’s tab and then you cash out before you go to your table. I wonder how many drinks get forgotten about though, because when my Mom went to order a drink, the bartender came across super confused. So my Mom orders her beer and a few minutes later, our table is ready. I tell my parents and my husband to go ahead to the table, I’ll close out the tab and order a beer for my husband and I. I walked up to the bar, right by the beer taps, in between two unoccupied bar stools and waited to be helped. Four people behind the bar and no one even acknowledged me standing there. Given, two of them were probably not bartenders but a simple “someone will be with you in a minute” goes a long way. The bartender that previously helped my parents was at the corner of the bar talking to someone. She looks right at me and then goes back to scrolling through her phone and talking to who I can only assume is a friend or a regular sitting in the corner. So I wait…wallet visibly in hand by the way. Clearly waiting to order and pay…when this same bartender, makes her way directly across from me, leans back on the bar, and proceeds to look from her right to her left, completely overlooking me. I literally even put my hand up as a signal to get her attention so I can order. She completely ignores it so clearly for some reason she didn’t want to help a paying customer. I’ve been in the service industry and have never experienced this before. We ended up leaving and didn’t stay for dinner. I definitely won’t be back, terrible...

Ate there one time and the girl brought me garlic wings that were covered inGarlic salt an no where on the menu did it say anything about salt . . . When i told the waitress she said i am not taking them off your bill and i replied i didnt ask you too . . . RUDE. So today my work orders from there and they say see you in 20 minites for pick up . . . . I wait 20 minutes befor going and then once there i waited another 25 . . . . I asked is there a reason it is tskong so long where she replied we were busy. Well excuse me lil miss rude . . . .if you wpuld have said see ypu in 45 minutes for your pick up when talking to me on the pho e i would have went in 45 minutes. Perhaps someone should teach this place some manors and how to cook cause they suck at both . . . .dont waist your time...

We went the last couple years for the fish sandwich, which is tasty, but served with plastic forks and knives (for some hefty food). Unfortunately this last time, our service was slow, and our waitress began wiping down the table as we were putting our coats on and said out loud "finally" as we left. We were there for 45 minutes total, and ate up until the time we decided to leave. Then I waited for roughly 15 minutes while bartenders and the wait staff toward the back of the restaurant kept ping-pong'ing me back and forth to pay. Finally, I confronted a bartender who rolled her eyes at me when I asked to pay. Although the food was good, there are plenty of other places in Pittsburgh with good food AND good service. I recommend going...
